Just avoid the scam dealers like this one. Dealers like this one (Brickell Buick gmc - Miami) should be named and shamed to never receive business again.

Don't think they quite understand the idea of a "Sale."

Plenty of dealers will be happy to let you order one at MSRP, although in the past month or 2 I've noticed that the local GMC dealer has largely removed even their modest markups on vehicles in inventory.

Most dealers around us that have stock (and that is very few…) don’t post ANY prices. It just says “please call for current price “
That means …. OVER MSRP…!

I find at least in my area, stock is much better for Tahoe’s, including the HC. I even see some dealer discounts coming back. Part of why I question whether some GMC dealers are embellishing the whole supply issue.

Here in Gallup, NM the GMC dealer will absolutely sell you an ordered Yukon or Sierra at MSRP and even the current stock doesn't have more than a couple of hundred dollars as a markup.

If I get on Auto Trader I can generally find just about any model from any manufacturer in a few hundred mile radius being advertised at MSRP.

I decided to build a 2023 similar to my 2021 Z-71 and the price is 10.5% higher. It was an interesting little exercise I thought I’d share.

The MSRP prices are unreal. The auto industry is going to be hurting soon. I am so sick of dealers I refuse to buy anything new (except a Tesla or Rivian you can order online).

They have price increases all the same. At least you can get your GM product serviced. Good luck scheduling a tesla for service. I had 2 from New and they are junk.

Isn't Rivian wait like 8-10 months?

The charging infrastructure doesn't exist for it to make sense for me right now (this is a trip vehicle) so looked but passed on the Rivian.

MSRP is lower than they ever have been. even my 22 order that changed over to a 23 order with $2500 supercruise only went up a few hundred bucks because inflation has been very slightly outpacing truck prices for most of the time i've been alive. I commonly see people that just flat out do not understand the value of a dollar changes so significantly over the course of a year... even more so the last 2 years with almost 10% inflation numbers.

If you think prices are crazy on Tahoes and Yukons, get a load of what they are charging at KIA down here in Southwest Florida. this disclaimer is over and above their sticker price of the vehicle which is usually higher than the actual sticker to start with…

Price is plus tax, tag, title, registration, any dealer-installed accessories and dealer-provided benefits, and a pre-delivery service fee of $995, Private Tag Agency Fee of $189, and Electronic Registration Filing Fee of $199, which charges represent costs and profits to the dealer for items such as inspecting, cleaning, and adjusting vehicles and preparing documents related to the sale. New vehicle pricing excludes the $6995 Kia of Cape Coral Advantage package ($14,995 on Telluride, Carnival and EV6 SX trims; $9995 on Telluride, Carnival and EV6 Ex & LX trims). Pre-owned vehicle pricing excludes the $2995 Kia of Cape Coral Advantage package, and any reconditioning expenses, which amount will vary depending on the vehicle.

What does this advantage package have?

They don’t really say, but I’m gonna assume it’s the usual basics of a wax job, some spray can rust proofing, and the VIN number etched on the window, oh and probably nitrogen filled tires!
At least you are getting something tangible (albeit unnecessary and stupid). Some of these gm dealers are making you pay for air basically.

Worst part of this kind of crap is is absolutely KILLs the consumer if financing...because most will tuck it in the loan, and then your vehicle is worth way less than the note, becuase none of these "extras" add any value...

What I think is totally crazy, is I don’t even think Yukons get a 15 K mark up. But tellurides do. Also, you could go out of state, have a weeks vacation, buy the vehicle and drive home, and still be cheaper than buying it down here.
