I still have to replace the corner lights, and get a smooth chrome grill without the holes in it.

I bought that grille chrome, Then I painted it white. I like the clean look, never been a fan of too much chrome.

This is what the truck looked like.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It is a pretty good solid truck. I looked at 12-13 trucks before I found this one.

This is my daily driver so I dont think I want to drop it anymore than the 2/3" from Belltech. I'd much rather have it sitting on the ground with a set of air bags. I almost bought a 2wd Yukon but I can't drive that around here in the winter.

The truck needs to have at leaste the left front door painted and repaired. When the molding came off so did some paint. It has some bondo build up on the door and also some rust coming back.

The interior is what needs the rear attention. The carpet is nasty and it still need a real good cleaning. I think I'm going to replace the carpet, front door panels and put a small stereo in.

I drove mine daily with a 4/6 static drop for 11 years. Since then I've been driving it with 6/7 static for the past 2 years. Just gotta be careful in the dips and driveways.

I think a 2wd truck and a 4wd truck are a little different. I need this truck to perform all year and be reliable, so I'm going to stay with a small drop until I have something else to drive daily.

Thanks again,
Nick

Didn't realize yours was 4WD. Cheers!

My 94 Yukon SLE 4x4

Ok so here is my contribution. I was on flood operations for 6 months last year with the North Dakota National Guard and had been looking at this Yukon for a little over a year. 2500 was the "Bottom Line Price". But, since my retta GTZ broke down and I was in the NG he gave it to me for 1800. It had 214000
on the OD with no oil leaks and for the most part clean. Of course I am deployed in Kosovo right now and I told my 18 year old son he could borrow it now and then. Well, he let his friend drive it and he busted a chunk out of one of the rims and some how stripped the plastic on the cable that holds the seat back up. I have yet to find either since American Racing stopped making the 15 x 7 rims i this style. Plans are a 6" lift with 37" Goddyear M/T's like our HMMWV's. I would like to put a supercharged 383 under the hood. I would like to go with 18" rims but I don't think these tires come in this size. My dad is building me a pre-runner style bumper but a little taller. Say about 6-8" tall in center. Full coverage brush guard that wraps around the top of the hood. Which the hood I would like is the Ram Air 442 style. The main color is metallic Jet Black with Arctic White lower and a fire engine red stripe. I want to disassemble the clear tail lights and paint the housings and the rear bumper Arctic White. On the front the bumper will be Jet black with black markers and corners and black projector headlights. Bushwacker cut-out flares with the rivets. 15000 lb front winch. I was also thinking instead of the nerf bars of a set of rocker protector steps like on the blazer on Tango and Cash. OK enough boring you here is the pics.

I love mine. It has the typical Hoe issues (an occasional random fluid leak, whining fuel pump, 10 miles to the gallon), but otherwise it's pretty mint.

I go back and forth on selling it or not. This forum has given me a renewed appreciation though. I love how no one else has one.

I've replaced the alternator, radiator, fuel pump twice, the rear diff sounded like a cement mixer so I replaced that with a 97 diff. Sucks it wasn't the same year, but this new diff only had 78K miles. Replaced the tranny and engine 6 months apart. Still needs a new transfercase
We have a love/hate relationship.

Do you have a problem with rust being on the east?

It seems to me that you either get one that constantly needs work or one that doesn't. There's not much in between. I've had to replace the brakes so far, but my fuel pump has been whining pretty hard the last couple weeks. However, it only has 90,000 gently used miles and shows no rust above or beneath. Upstate, NY winters have been fairly mild over the last 10 years with most burbs using sand instead of salt. I've never seen a Sport in metallic gray like mine and get a lot of compliments because of it. I'd keep yours if it was me though. Especially with all you have invested.

hey guys, i have a 1994 2dr which has the factory solar mirror tint. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?? I'd rather it be black tint. Should i try to remove it? Or replace the entire window??

If I can get 7K for it, I'd sell it. But I would need to find a real big Tahoe enthusiast.
I looked up the production numbers about 3 years ago. It said of all the Tahoe's produced in 99, only 4% or 9% were 2dr models. If you do the math, an even smaller percent are the sport models and Z71. The chances of you finding one in your area are even slimmer! I think we got a great find!
