'97 Tahoe Rear Side Windows

Greetings!
Just purchased a '97 Tahoe LT four-door 4x4 yesterday.
Below the inside of the rear windows on both sides of the truck
there are three notches molded into the top of the plastic paneling.
Anyone know what these are for?

That's exactly what it looks like it's for.
Was that an included accessory with these trucks?

Not sure, but I don't think it was included in the base price, probably had to buy it as an added on accessory.
