I can't say how happy we are with the Canvas back cargo liner we purchased. I wanted some custom features and their service team was great and even suggested other modifications. The biggest thing I requested was to create the custom seat barrier in mesh rather than the liner material, this allows us to see the dog while he lies down.

I also had them put mesh over the vents on the sidewalls, normally Canvasback would just cut out the vents as an option but I wanted the plastic to be protected from scuffs so the mesh material was the perfect solution. It is important to ensure those vents work as designed, first for proper air circulation as they act as a return and in the event of an airbag deployment the displaced cabin air needs to go somewhere so you don't blow out your ear drums.

They also covered the rear seat controls and outlet with a flap that Velcros down, same on the underfloor cargo tray handle, and we did slits so the d-rings are accessible for things like the dog's ramp. Lastly they added a bumper protection flap that is attached with velcro and is easily removable. With only 1,500 miles on my Yukon I can't imagine what the bumper would already look like without it as the dog loading/unloading would take it's toll.

Wow, is that ever amazing! It even came with a beautiful dog! I would love to order something like that for my 2022 that is about to be delivered. Could you provide a ballpark of base pricing, as well as what your customization added?

We have been using Canvasback for years in several trucks. They are fantastic and high quality. Really protect the truck if you have dogs. The sides never hold on here in Florida due to the high heat. But no big deal the sides are plastic in the GM truck. Easy clean up from our drool monster. My wifes Mercedes is carpet which would be a problem, but even though she has them the dog isnt allowed in her truck!! LOL

That looks really nice thanks for sharing the pictures. If you wanted to raise the third row does it fold over ok and not pull the Velcro off? I am coming from a silverado 2500 and with my kids in the back and my dog it is a real pain and he goes everywhere with us. I bought a 22’ suburban RST and have been looking at different mats to slide back there but this looks nice , especially the sides where the slobber would be dripping everywhere is the bottom
Part just lay down or does it have Velcro also ?

As far as the third row seat backs: If you install the liner and velco with the seat backs lowered then it won't budge raising or lowering the third row. In the upright position you may see a slight bulge at the base of the seat back.

The cargo floor liner does velcro into place and between my dog, the ramp, or hauling things it does not move.

Thank you for the info, did you call them to order? I don't see the center piece between the buckets 2nd row seats in "clear" , only colored. I will shoot them an email about it. Thanks again.

Yes, I called customer service and asked about things I'd like. The rep was great, said yes to it all and even made other suggestions.

HI, I was wondering how your canvasback side protectors are holding up, I recently ordered some because I have 4 rottweilers that ride back there. Is that the black color that you ordered, and are there any tricks to help install them? Thanks.

They are holding up really well, look like the day I installed them. The side protectors attached with included peel and stick Velcro. The are cut to the side profile of the plastic side panels, just hold them up to the side panel and you will see how it goes, peel the film off the Velcro and it couldn't be easier. Be sure to pull all the pieces tight as you install.

The side protectors do not cover the top horizontal surface of the panel. This isn't a problem with a Bernese Mountain Dog, not sure about a Rottweiler.

I really do like the mesh we put behind the vent cut outs, it does three things: keeps the plastic vents from getting scratched, is a cleaner look keeping the sides more uniform without gaping holes, and I'd like to think helps stray dog hair from getting sucked in.

I do have the black color. I've got the lighter interior and debated between Canvasback's tan or black. The black hides black dog hair well but dusty paw prints are very obvious whereas with the tan they might not be as visible. I'm not sure if I would do it differently though.

I have noticed the plastic panel on my hatch is getting scratches not from the dog but stuff like suitcases or whatever. It is making me insane so I'm probably going to contact Canvasback to see if they can fabricate something for it.

Thanks again for the info, the horizontal surface shouldn't be a problem either, the mesh sounds like a good idea. I would be using the side covers with a WT mat, it all should be well protected from dirty paws except the rear hatch panel. Maybe they need to hear some customer suggestions. Thanks again.

I have the WT cargo mat on the floor, they don't slide around on that. On my '19 I used the husky cargo mat but it had a slick bottom and it would move outward and make it hard for the door to close. The WT seems to hold the carpet better.

I'm curious if the fabric is slick and wonder if the dogs slide around on it. If so, are you using some kind of pad on top?
The forward facing surface feels like a canvas texture, it's fairly smooth on the face and has a coating of some sort on the back. I don't drive like a maniac with the dog in the back and he doesn't slide around but it certainly doesn't give him the grip carpet or a molded mat would.
