That sounds awesome. I'd love to see a prictural tour of your Denali inside and out. I'm particularly intrigued with how the shifter swap looks and how much trouble it was to do it.

I'm in the process of a build and mod of an 06 Escalade and am always looking for ideas. So far, have had trans rebuilt, new suspension and steering, did a 2/4 belltech drop kit, and went from stock 17" to 20" wheels off 2018 Escalade.The engine swap to a LS364/450 is happening now, then exhausts and custom tune program. Just ordered new seat covers.

It’s holding up well. No peeling. The leatherworld technologies dye is good quality product.

New shoes mounted up today. A little smaller than the LTX A/T2s but still a good stance and they look great all coated up. From the few miles back and forth around town today doing a couple errands after I got the tires mounted, the defender LTX tires are riding pretty smooth.

Hopefully tomorrow out on the road, the lighter tires will bring better fuel economy and the return of a little power loss. Will be keeping track of it throughout tomorrows travels.

Also decided to give the Nali an oil change before the trip. I was only about halfway through the interval but just decided to hammer it out this afternoon since I had the time. Now I don’t need to stress about it when I get back from the trip as I have a lot going on when I get back. Coolant reservoir is right where it should be and Al other fluids looked good. Will be documenting the miles traveled this time around with the trip computer.

Good morning from northern Utah! Will be posting some content from the roughly 600 mile drive yesterday! Only on day two of the trip and already having a blast!

Left home yesterday at 8am! Beautiful I day with sunny blue skies! Starting mileage on the truck and then reset trip A to keep tracking of how many miles I drove in this trip.

Traffic was super light all day. Made it from big bear to Vegas via I-15 in like three hours with only one restroom and fuel stop. Have some videos to upload as well of the drive. Truck ran great. I’ll be honest I knew the Michelin defenders had good ride quality reviews, BUT HOLY CRAP!! They ride SO DAMN SMOOTH!! I’m very impressed with how well they absorb all the bumps and imperfections in the roads!

Sunday funday on the mountain!! Smiles for DAYZZ cuz we out here snowboardin!! Another ride day with Kate-Lynn, the gal in the middle, who is married to my best friends brother. She’s the one who works for snowbasin resort. We took the day and snowboarded with her cousin who’s in town from Ohio, the gal on the right, and severe of the local skiers that she knows from working lift ops on the resort. We got there early enough to park in the lot right below on of the mid mountain lifts, tailgated with the locals and made breakfast and mimosas right in the parking lot!! And then hopped on the first chair at 9am and snowboarded all day!!
Lunch mid day at the top of the mountain resort, more boarding and then the short drive home at 3pm to get ready to watch the super bowl.
Wish I got some video but it was a killer day filled with laughter, beautiful sun shine, great snow a good football game and even better people! Like my signature says, when life throws a snowstorm at you, strap on a snowboard and GO SNOWBOARDING!! YEEYEE BOYS!

Hiked to the top of one of the snowbasin peaks yesterday called sisters ridge. Really neat bike like with some great steep terrain riding down chutes back into a bowl. Snow was pretty good. Will post some videos I took from the top a little later so here’s some quick photos.

Took some quick photos with my truck and the base area behind it. Pay no mind to the mud around the edges of my tires and in the wheel wells. Lol. We parked in a satellite lot Sunday morning to meet up with some of the locals who tailgate in the upper parking beside the top of the lift that services the beginner terrain! It was so fun! Got up there early and hung out and made breakfast right there in the parking lot and then got on the first chair of one of the mid mountain lifts! The dirt parking lot was soggy and wet when we left so the Nali got a lil dirty haha. BUT DANG!! These long bodies just look so good!

I love the lodges at snowbasin! They’re built so beautifully! This is one of the top lodges and it’s like stepping back in time to a 1920s luxury ocean liner! Big beautiful staircases leading to huge naturally wel lit seating areas and lounges and then the cafeterias and dining rooms are the same way!
