Eventful day in the Yukon. Rolled over 60k miles. Only put about 8k miles on the past 16 months I’ve owned it. Don’t get to drive it as much as I like to. Hauled ass today to the ER for the wife. Took her up to 110 on some stretches of the highway. I’m not posting to brag about speeding but this thing really is a monster of an SUV. May of even warped the rotors :( had some heavy vibration on the brake pedal as I was slowing down for the exit and definitely a little bit of smoke coming from the rotors when I pulled into the parking lot….

The wife’s doing ok for anyone that may inquire

Drove 1500 of the 3000+ miles of my trip towing my Camaro so far.
Trans fluid temp stayed around 140-156° the whole time towing. Only got to 180° going up a few really steep grades.
Very happy with how well it tows. Camaro is 3900lbs (the blower is heavy haha). Trailer is probably 1500lbs or so? I don’t know.
Averaging 13.2mpg so far!

Used my mityvac to pull about 5.5 qts of trans fluid and refilled with fresh Dex VI. 24k miles, pulled a trailer a few times this summer, figured I’d refresh it a bit. Changed the diff fluid too a few weeks back. Only thing left is an oil change before the winter, then I’m ready for the depressing weather months.

I have a giant wickerbill on my Z06, so I get about 12.8mpg when towing. Good color choice on your Camaro. Here’s my 13 1LE I sold a couple years back. Same color. And here’s my current Camaro my wife absolutely had to have.D1156B28-36F9-4ACA-A745-A2BD1EB03C8E.jpegEE52875B-4C87-4ABE-A919-778A03941FDE.jpeg7921CC6D-6F71-47CD-8225-2C418D8D27EE.jpeg

I told my kids if i find any kinda trash next to them they are riding in the back, and im not talking about 3rd row seats. I understand trash can is needed for little kids, but mine are 12 and 14 grrrr. Im tired of cleaning. Sometime i just use Dewalt 60v blower and clean it that way lol

Very nice Z06. Your previous posts gave me the courage to trust towing my Camaro so far. Like you said, most the time I forgot it was even there!
I love the 1LE, but if it was sold for the Z06, I understand.
And your 45th anniversary looks nice too (even though it's a v6 haha)

Just got home from my 3021mi round trip.
Averaged 14.2mpg going from Southern California to the upper PNW and back.
The Tahoe pulled my Camaro like a dream. Even up and over large grades like Shasta and Siskiyou pass (for those of you familiar with I-5)

That pill flip on the trans thermostat did WONDERS to keep the temp down. Most the time while towing it held around 145 degrees. Over large grades it would climb to the 170's most the time and quickly fall back down.

Glad you had a good trip. My wife hated the 1LE, mostly because of me though. I had turned it into a track car and it was uncomfortable to say the least. She hated the monster clutch too.
Bought her the v6 6speed manual and she loves it. Found it in FL, 23k miles on it.

Very nice deal for her!
My wife doesn't enjoy my Camaro much (she doesn't know how to drive a manual either), but she puts up with it - knowing it's my baby.
Mine's a 2013, bought it new and I've done a bit to it. Full bolt ons, large custom cam, forged pistons, LSA blower, flex fuel, 3.91's etc
Makes around 790 wheel hp on E85 currently.

Not today, but in the last week - - alignment, new rubber, new pads all around, and finally put in the Power Stop rotors I've been sitting on for over two years haha. A refresh like this all at once she is hot butter now
