Decided to install a CAI on our 6.2L, cleaned up the engine bay and a little more sound.

It's a sealed system so you don't hear it woosh at all but the engine does sound more aggressive when your giving it more that average throttle and really nice at WOT.

Easy install and the same unit that they use on the new Silverado's, nice and heavy instead of cheap plastic like most intakes you see now or the stock unit.

I know it will not produce any real gains in power or MPG but I like to install them on all my vehicles anyways.

Thats a nice setup. I had a similar CAI in my 2011 Camaro SS and makes a difference in sound when you still have the stock exhaust. I can't remember correctly but after how many miles do you need to clean the filter?

Have you noticed any improvement in miles/galon?

Can't say that we say anything huge, but we didn't have the Tahoe that long before I installed it.
With the CAI, the GM performance exhaust a catch can and the Pedal Commander we avg 22.5 mpg on a trip from NC to the NH/VT and back, that's using premium fuel and cruise on most of the way.
I'm not sure what others with the 6.2 are getting?
