2 Door Denali?
But could be a hybrid.
Looks like it has escalade body moldings and rack.

Yeah....Not really into those wheels.....I'm more of a spinner guy, LOL

Was curious though if they made a 2dr Denali in this year or you think the guy just put escalade panels and rack on and slapped a denali badge on it?

I think that's a possibility.

There was a never a factory made two door denali. It’s most certainly a pieced together truck. It’s not difficult to swap the Denali front clip. I’m curious how hard it was to get those GMT800 Escalade racks to fit on the gmt400 body. Never seen how the racks mounts the roof the gmt400s, so that has me wondering. Lol.

Iirc the Denali frontend is the same as the Escalades of that vintage.

Not a fan of that at all. I prefer the classic look of the stock 2 door. Having recently stripped and repainted mine, the roof rack is held on by 1 bolt that screws into a riv-nut in each corner. Two of mine would not come out so had to be drilled out. I replaced all 4 riv-nuts and used new stainless bolts.

That body's front end really bother's me. The rounded edges and corners of the hood/grill/bumper looks funny with the boxed look of the rear.

Reminds me of when they swap a NNBS front clip onto a NBS or other front clip swaps, it never looks right. And yes, this a front clip swap. Kinda like a mullet only NBS in the front and -no, not party in the rear- it’s Old Body Style in the rear.

Except that the only GMT800 parts on this particular truck are the roof racks. The Denali front end swap on this is a GMT400 Denali clip, not a GMT800.

I’m sure that they have their following now, but those panel gaps in the pictures are about what they looked like when they did the Denali/Escalades new.

Those first generation versions were badge engineering at its finest with a nice profit to boot. I guess it worked out for GM in the end.

Well, it certainly looks different. It also looks like it's owned by a jerk. You can bet they don't need handicap parking.
I believe I see a handicap placard in the front windshield.

Not to take away from the absolute disgust this thing evokes in us... :doublepuke:
