112 MPH is nothing. I remember going well over 120 in a high top suburban ambulance with a 454 back in the 80's. The diesels these days can't touch the record times to area hospitals set by that V8 beast LOL

that is why gm will not "reset" the airbag module if a airbag is deployed, they will only replace it. You can however swap a exact same part in from another truck that has not been wrecked and just have it synced to the vin, you can do this with a tech2. optionally you can send it off to one of many online company's that can erase it and send it back to you. Technically it is against federal law but they have bigger fish to fry.

And as James stated it would also be against the law for gm to sell you a vehicle with tires that are rated less than the limiter speed.
mine are rated for 160mph, top speed is 137 with the limiter off if you get more than that then cudo's to you.

Technically it's but it's your property though which means you can modify it at will.. Legally you own it assuming it's not a lease..

with the hybrid i think she'll go at lest 145-150mph with the limiter off..(remember it has the aero package..
with the 3.08 gear ratio... so it's not limited by the RPM much plus it has way more torque at the wheels then the normal tahoe.. this is why the put a huge beefy drive shaft in it.

legally the black box is your property... be sure to take it with you after an accident..... also you can just say the gas peddle got stuck GMs are known to throttle by them selfs GM calls them "surges" but you and i both know it's unintended throttle acceleration

I'm sorry if my Engine is throttling to 6,000 RPM without me pressing the gas peddle, that meets the definition of unintended engine acceleration...
