Probably ment 80 each? Or got the entry level moog arms as well. They were like 39 each on RA, but they also had the Problem solver arms. I be installing a set of these and moog lower ball joints end of week

Still like $42 per on Amazon
Amazon.com: MOOG RK80942 Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly: Automotive
I would like to find a piece with easily removable ball joints, So I don't have to remove the arm and get an alignment.

Suspension Lift Kits, Leveling Kits, Body Lifts, Shocks, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, Hummer, Off-Road Trucks - 2000-2010 GM 2500HD / 3500HD BALL JOINT UPPER A ARMS - CHEVY / GMC - LEVEL TECH Full Throttle Suspension (ftskits.com)
I wonder if those fit. They're for a 2500/3500
But at $80 compared to $700 maybe not cost effective.

Got my rear main seal replaced today!!!.

New flange gaskets, New front pump seal, rear booted seal on trans and got some new flex plate bolts for it. Going to do oil pan gaskets myself just cause I have it and want all New gaskets down there. Also got the pickup tube seal for it as well when I drop the pan.

As previously stated there are several moog lines. For a few bucks more I picked up these from RA with the matching lower ball joints. Not sure how much better these will be over the CK line.

If you look at their literature they state plainly that their RK series is meant to compete with the inexpensive Chinese crap that’s built the same way and priced accordingly. I understand their reasoning but wish they didn’t even try, it just puts a blemish on their name overall.

Yeah, but ALL their pitman & idler arms at least for our trucks have the same type of "boot". Am I missing something?

PS. I actually ordered Moog for my truck when I was going to do the job, but after receiving, inspecting and seeing this type of things, I had to reorder GM OEM.

A project for this past weekend was to refurbish my passenger seat. I bought a new bottom leather cover ($80 + taxes off eBay). I also bought a GM seat repair kit to eliminate seat rocking back & forth: https://www.ebay.com/itm/291102602491. Tied up and wrapped all wires under the seat. Washed a seat belt. I saw some car flippers do it with a bucket with the seats inside the car, but I already had the seat out, so had a chance to wash it properly. Ground out a sleeve that limits the seat recline. Lubricated all worm gears. Cleaned all plastic parts, cleaned and treated the leather.

Whin a proper tool it shouldn't take longer than 1 hour per side, but without the tool this can be challenging. Check if ur local part store has a ball joint press tool available for rent. It'd save u a lot of headache and curse words
