I'm a noob just getting started. Got new rims and tires (22's with 305/40/22 tires). Did the hidden antenna mod and lost radio reception. Installed new LED tail lights and added LED reverse lights. I also have HID kits that I'd like to install. 8000k 55w lows and 8000k 35w fogs with LED bulbs for the bumper lights. I'd like to know if I can safely do the HID's within the stock lenses or do I need to purchase projectors? And I need to know if there's a step by step how to on installing the HID's myself? Not sure of what else to do to her. Any suggestions?

looks good. for a few easy mods id recommend: tint, roof rack delete, de-badge/de-mold, and a 2/3 or 3/5 drop

youll like the hids. ive got 10K in mine. where in ATL are you? im in Gwinnett.

I have the HIDs in the stock lenses and they are fine, but projectors would be better imo. and they are pretty much plug and play. you replace your stock bulbs with the hid bulb, plug in the harness, and just put the ballast somewhere convenient.

I agree on the tinting, debadge/demolding and a definite drop more like the 2/4. I'm in Conyers.

looking good and Roger pretty much covered it on the mods.
Def need to drop that sukka!
I plan on dropping it within the next couple of weeks. I saw a thread about replacing rear shocks with Bilsteins would pretty much level it out. I like your height JD. At that height I don't think my wife would have to use my step ladder anymore to climb into the truck. :laughing1: What drop did you go with and what kit was used?

Magaughy 2/3 drop
Keys in the front and springs and shock extenders on the back

I'm happy with that drop and ride quality is not affected.
