So maybe the problem was that O2 sensor? Check your trans fluid when it’s hot, you don’t want to go running around a quart low. That takes out these 4l60’s more than anything else. Glad to hear it’s running good, maybe the demons have been exorcised.

That’s what I understand as well. Not sure about programming, if you need a VIN from a truck with the power fold option or if there’s an option you can check when doing the programming.

What I see in TIS2000 are two different "calibrations" for the Driver's Door and Passenger Door Switches, one for DL3 and one for DL8. I don't think the VIN plays into the programming for the switches, but the firmware is absolutely tied to manual vs. power mirrors.

GTK. I wish mine was an 03. The 99-02’s have a completely different wiring harness and there’s no way I could see no way to add the power fold without adding my own wiring and switch. It wasn’t worth it to me.

Well....I probably put around 40 miles on it today and it actually ran pretty damn good. I didn't hear or feel anything weird. Trans shifted great. I didn't check the fluid today, I actually forgot, but the day of the incident it was good on the stick, and it took around 7 qts. I've probably had this trans going on 4 yrs now and I've YET to change the filter or fluid! I keep losing the damn fluid so it's constantly getting refreshed. Still shifting great tho.

That's awesome to read! Does it feel fast?

Didn't the 01-02 Escalades have powerfold mirrors?

Yeah, but I know it can do better.

The log @Scottydoggs posted showed 21* of timing which is actually kinda a lot on 87 I'm only running 22* with 93 so I don't think there's much more to gain with timing (Of course only dyno tuning would tell for sure). Get one of those real time racing apps and see what she does!

IDK. All I know is when I pulled the mirrors off the 06 I had for awhile and tried to install them, the plugs on my 02 were tiny compared to the ones on the 06. Then I thought about swapping the door harnesses over but the place where THOSE plugged in, at the foot wells, was not even close. Maybe there’s different powerfold mirrors for the 02 Eskys buy I’ve never heard of them.

This should be the switch for those mirrors.
