One side rear of my 2006 Yukon xl slt .was rust jacked pads locked tight in caliper and parking brake rusted tight with zero grease inside. 4 lb Mall 3/4-in chisel. Ya I need to put all the shocks on yet. I have a feeling the test drive is going to be unbelievable awesome.
With all fixed .. how I drove it without the right side rear brakes not working is pretty shocking. The front must have been doing all the braking. Hay look at parking brake shoes looks like brand new . Ya looks like never worked from day truck was made . It was a one wheel parking brake .lol

Used Lucas power steering stop leak / noise snake oil in my power steering. It actually quieted it quite a bit. I don’t feel the weird stuff and notchy place when backing and turning wheel left anymore. I’m pretty surprised and happy with it. (I just flushed the system last weekend, and it actually seemed to get worse with the new fluid).

Finally fixed my left rear window. When I got it the passenger rear window didn't work so I fixed that, then shortly after the driver rear quit. For the first time in a year both rear windows work!

Also had to take a picture when I was out tonight.

Dont think I have posted any pictures since I took the running boards off either.

Since she's been a good girl, she gets new shoes.

I really wanted that style when I upgraded my wheels. Looks super sharp! Jelly.

Alas, my brother in law got a new Silverado and immediately took of his stock 20's and gave me a good price. Hard to pass up, especially since wheels/tires were brand new and I paid less than what the tires alone would go for.

Been having some clunks at low speed turns. Several weeks ago, I greased everything underneath. Thought that fixed it, but still there. Did some troubleshooting mentally then put it in the air and had my wife make lock to lock turns. No noise. Put it back on the ground and same - no noise. Decided to re-check torque on the cross member I removed to drop the oil pan. Damn. One side not even hand tight. Torqued em down to spec.

Will test drive later, right now, she's parked parallelly to my garage as I have to keep it outside overnight while the hardwood floors get refinished. All furniture in the garage. Doing my best attempts to keep thievery from happening.
