You might be able to loosen the hood hinge and move it a smidge, worse case scenario remove the hinges and notch them, doesn't take much on one end to make a difference on the other end.

I was trying this too! Not sure if I’m thinking correct when you said to notch the hinges? Did you mean to open the holes a little more?

You can loosen the bolts that hold the hinges to the hood and adjust it that way too. Looks like it needs to move to the driver side a bit. It takes patience and some fuckery. You have to open it, loosen the bolts on both sides, move one to the side and tighten, close it slowly to see if the other side needs to go fore or aft, tighten that side, close it slowly, etc. Pretty much need a helper and mark the locations of the bolts by drawing a circle around the heads/ washers so you have a reference of where you started from. I did mine by myself and got kind of good at it after 2-3 times.

Yes it does need to move over a bit towards drivers side as that is where it has a big gap compared to passenger side. I’ll take more pics in the early daytime to get a better view of it.

If it won’t go over you can use a die grinder to widen the slots in the hood by a bit so it will.

Thought he already did that. Unless I’m mistaking him for someone else?

Well--Esky racks, those window air deflectors--already had the Esky appliques--and tint?
Sorry, I’ve only seen your truck from the side or rear that I can remember...but does look good! Maybe a wash or wax?

Yes Tony, the Esky racks, I went from the old stuck on window bubbles to the lower profile in-channel deflectors. I know they’re grampa style but I like them. [emoji23]

The 3rd thing was the mirror caps. I know that was way to tough to ID. I had broken the PS a while back and they were both chipped and faded as well.

Look at that shine.. [emoji16][emoji631]

I paid a friend to do the removal of the adhesive and buffing the paint after removal and boy am I glad he was doing the work. Im not great with any paint work and he did a great job. His work has dropped way off anyway so it helps him out. I think these deflectors were on this thing since day one. Holy shit.

Did you need mirror caps? I have a set of white ones laying around.

I like those wheels was looking at a very similar set— just don’t know if I want to spend the money right now.
So Do I. Are they 17"?

anyone know what I did?

Would you stop please posting picture of your marvelous truck? I'm jealous and I think my Hoe is suspecting something. :Big Laugh:

Nice job!
Good timing here also. I wanna ask the forum about those deflectors. Are the in-channel better? Which brands are yours?
