So got a reprieve on my report back to Louisiana due to Hurricane Sally. Thus, I was able to get the Escalade cleaned up by the detail shop one more time during my stay this time around. Managed to get it home and in the garage before the afternoon showers.

even though it is not marketed for the bigger suv's it fits and works the same, I have the same one on my 2012 and my 2018

I thought about yanking the one off my Colorado, but I was hoping to find a heavier aftermarket one. Still shocked that no one makes a full skid plate system for the Tahoe? I really thought the aftermarket support would be much greater... I suppose to many of them are used like mini vans

I haven't seen or heard of any other than the ones the border patrol vehicles get but those are made on government contract as far as I have been able to tell so I think the only solution would be a custom fabrication.

ya it's funny how these places that could easily make something (on order only if necessary) and still are like ahh **** chevy & gmc lol, but the crap is probably made in china anyway which is probably why.

Okay... Who has a neighbor who has a family member with a friend that knows someone that knows someone that can get details on the Border Patrol skid plates and modifications...

I am also hoping that the aftermarket companies begin developing stuff for these. Mine sees dirt daily.

I have plans for the future overland build on my Tahoe when it’s decommissioned as my daily driver. That will probably require air ride delete in the back, 3 inch lift, off-road bumpers and rock sliders. And a good set of skid plates.

Not sure why but diehard golds are my go to battery. I’ve always had good luck with them and have also lasted me the longest in all my vehicles...I’m sure they are made in the same factory as other brands with a diehard sticker slapped on but they have not failed me yet.

Installed my corsa exhaust. Sounds bad ass. Kinda wish it was louder.

I took mine to the dealership and had them put a vacuum on the brakes after the software update caused them to act funny. Luckily GM stepped up to the plate and replaced the pump! Took about 4 hours but the brakes are so much better on my 2015!

We need video. I have the Corsa Extreme on my F150 and its rowdy on the cold start or when you are really hammering down. You can probably have a muffler shop cut that last resonator out and weld in a piece of 304 stainless to make it louder. How did the install go? Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it?
