I replied to your other thread last night. Just wondering how the headlights have held up. Love the look, very clean.

Are these the VLAND Escalade tail lights or OEM and are they tinted or just normal? Looks really good and am debating myself changing to the Esky tail lights. Any info would be appreciated!!

Yes they are and they are tinted!

These are by far the cleanest looking aftermarket tail lights I've seen.
Curious; Does the turn signal illuminate yellow or red?

Yes they are the cleanest! I wish it was yellow to match my turn signal mirrors, but these are red:thumbsdown:

Thanks Tahoen! I am definitely getting the VLAND Esky tail lights! Wish I could have the smoked ones, but too much hassle from cops since they're illegal in VA :(

Your truck looks awesome though! Tail lights are definitely an upgrade to the style of the Tahoe!

Thanks alot!!

I was worried about getting the tinted ones as well but I went for it and I can say they're not as dark in person as in the pics on ebay! I always run with my daytime running lights on so driving their not as dark. I've even been pulled over twice for my tinted windows which I have an exemption for but no one's ever said anything about the tail lights.. I was originally going to get the clear ones and just spray tint them myself for that very reason if I ever got pulled over if there was an issue I could just clean off the Tint.

I got the tinted ones, they aren't the vLand brand though. I personally love the look, but don't like how they just aren't that bright. I have a feeling the biggest reason for that is the tint on these lenses. I see many Tahoes with the untinted, clearly aftermarket ones and they look brighter. It was worth it to me for the cleaner look to have tinted ones. As someone else stated in a thread about these lights, I like them on (dim mode, no brakes applied) better than the Escalade, the lighting is just more consistent. But when brakes/signals are on, I wish they were brighter.

Brad...
what bulbs do they have, you may be able to upgrade to a brighter output bulb.

They are all LED integrated into it. From what I've seen/observed through research, so I won't call it fact, the OEM Escalade lights have a ballast for the whole set up, which would explain why they can get so bright. These after market lights were clearly modeled/copied from an OEM housing, which makes sense with "copy cat manufacturing." There is a spot on the outside of the housing where the factory light has the ballast mounted, and it's not there. Bottom line, the OEM ones are much more complex which give them the performance they have.

LED or not, it may be worth the time to research the bulb...i try to located a bulb with a CREE style led at the end facing the rear aside from just a radial led...
