anyways, got the new hood done - only $150!

I couldn't believe how cheap and how big of a difference it made. I wish I had done this months ago lol

dropping the rims and tires off tomorrow, and hopefully start gutting the vehicle, do breaks, and new rims and tires this weekend

I wasn't sure if it was just that it's 20 year old paint vs brand new, or the lighting, or what

Did your painter use the correct paint code? If it looks good in person, I'd just leave it alone.

he used the code I gave him whether or not it's correct, who knows

working on the rustoleum as we speak lol

without the speakers in, and with the new tires, I'm at 36" front and 38" rear. need to figure out how to raise the front or lower the rear next

Used rustoleum on my rear hitch--didn't hold up, or last at all. Imo waste of time.

was driving to sell my old rims and tires, and passed an LKQ (junkyard)

FINALLY found a center jump seat in good condition, in the right color!

was a little bit of a nightmare to get in tho. like 4 hours all the way around. it looked like the seats in my truck had been loctite'd in there. several breaker bars, impact guns, and swear words were required

just need to reroute and hide some of the wires, swap out the glove box and other trim pieces, and we'll be in business

also got my doors done, just going with all MyCustomerSpeakerPod stuff a buddy set me up with

2 6.5s per front door, and a full range 4" and a tweeter per A-Pillar

still undecided on sub stage. probably a single 12" on a 1kw amp

Wow, 1st time on tyf I've seen someone go from a center console to a jump seat. Usually it's the opposite lol--including myself. Got all the parts you need for the conversion?

haha I get told that a lot. I've only had 1 other truck with a jump seat (my suburban) and I LOVED it. a lot more aesthetically pleasing, feels like more space for transport

it was also nice because a couple summers ago my GF and I would take her dog on trips with us and he could sit up front with us

Next he'll upgrade to a 4.8 liter. ;-) jk
