Anyone with a Street Scene hitch cover?

Just got mine in the mail today, and I knew fitment would be poor. The top corners stick out a little too much and it seems the bottom may be pushing in a little too hard.

I was just wondering, for those of you who have it, how you adjusted it? Heat gun? Sanding? I plan to take it a bodyshop for painting but I wanted to get the fitment pretty good before I take it to them.

It will never fit right... you should just take it off and send it to me for proper disposal

Why not just go with oe factory covers. And these already come painted to the truck.

Factory cover is not an option (frankly, I’d rather have no cover).
I tried sanding it a bit but the corners stick out even when it’s fully seated. I guess I’ll let the bodyshop try with a heat gun?
