Battery light is indicating an issue. You need to load test your although and battery, voltage measurement isn't enough.

It’s been doing this for a couple of weeks. Up and down at diff. Times.

Went to Autozone the guy owned an 02’ Avalanche and seemed to know what he was talking about. But he said they don’t load test. Only batt, starter, and alternator check. All of which passed no problem.

I have had this problem and it turned out to be he voltage regulator/alternator. Put 2 AZ reman alternators on before I threw a fit on the 3rd one and had them replace it with a NEW one.( the reman ones work for a week or so then went bad) The new one has been ok for a few months now.
Anyway to test it other than replace it?
And wouldn’t the battery die after a few starts?

Turn your voltmeter to AC. See if you show any voltage.
Most likely the voltage regulator is going bad.

The more and more this goes on. The more I think it is a bad cluster.
GM Guage Specialists damaged my original cluster while adding trans gauge and so he sent me this afterward. It’s got other issues and I’m thinking this is another one.

I'd be more interested in what your volt meter says, not what the dash gauge says.
Also, your first picture with key on/engine off, your door was open so the interior lights were one. This will drop the voltage a little too.
From your post #12, you had a voltage of 13.5V with the engine running /AC on. This voltage should have been higher. Brad (post #25) may be correct. Get yourself a rebuild kit and just rebuild the alternator yourself. It's very easy to do. If you know how to take the alternator out and put it back in, you have enough skills to rebuild your alternator. This guy https://alternatorstarterrebuildkits.com/ even provides videos on how to rebuild the alternators. I've heard stories of reman alternators only having the faulty parts changed, not the half worn out parts changed. I've had "new" devices fail (an ACDelco starter to be specific) fail.

Wait wait wait... cluster is not original? Yours vehicle is a 2005 model? Sounds like you may have the symptom of putting a 2003 cluster in a 2005 vehicle. I thought this started due to radio. Need more info.
Long story short I was given another cluster by
GM Guage Specialists
after he botched my original. I am not happy but he’s got my original cluster and my money. So this cluster definitely has issues. I did not think this was one of them. I wouldn’t know how to fix/check whether the batt indicator being on has anything to do with this cluster.

Looks like your charging system is working. You could pull the battery dummy light bulb if it bothers you.

You can't pull the battery light, it's a SMD led. Pm me and I will have you touch base with 2 of the guys in the lower 48 I trust. Use which ever is closer.

You have too much AC voltage. should be no more than .5-1volt.

My money is on that's an 03-04 cluster in an 05 truck. I just had to remove the light for someone this past week with the same symptom.
Agreed, the whole experience was a nightmare. He messed up my mileage the cluster is damaged and now this.
Never do business with GM Gauge specialists.
I’ll swap it out ASAP but with three kids it’s in the back burner.
