Right DA90, you missed the question, will the brake light line up on the Tahoe glass, so I can tape it down vs. using the mounting holes? Trying to avoid buying a nearly identical glass if the mounting holes are the only differences in the two.

@Da90 Did answer your question. you must use the glass from the esky. the esky glass has a flatter surface for the mounting holes.the tahoe glass is missing the center top cause the lamp mounts to the cab.

Also the appliqués are different on the sides. Not just the look but they way they line up with the brake light and glass.

Thanks 915_Tahoe, for that confirmation. I guess there's no shortcut on this mod... Well I got pretty lucky otherwise today and scored Denali vent covers that are already color matched black. A little clean up, polish and maybe I get away without painting them. Also got a Denali rear bumper that is charcoal vs. black, will check it out to see if I will get it painted.

Better looking than stock chrome...

While installing a paint matched rear hatch handle I broke the plastic clip that holds the cable. Zip ties fix everything.

Your hatch does not have the mounting holes, you need to buy an esky hatch. I ran into that issue when I bought the esky 3rd brake light.

People have put esky 3rds on with non esky glass and worked just fine. Double sided mounting tape
