Eesh. I dunno about that dash. Looks a little too 80’s knight rider. Ugh. Was really hoping they’d nail it.

I actually like this dash better than the escalates.

Why are we not surprised? The only science denier I've run across here is you kid. The Navigator, using your logic, is an old design, old technology and is overdue for updating. Why on earth would anyone buy one? LOL

Thank you, I shall continue to enjoy my truck! I say to you and those who like to buy a new car every few years, to each his own. I say to you and those who like to keep their cars for a long time, to each his own. We, who buy used cars after the bulk of their depreciation has occurred, need guys like you who prefer the new car smell. A symbiotic relationship if you will.

Do tell us about your new ride and post photos. I reckon it will be more akin to a Denali than your Tahoe but don't remember your trim level.

You said you’re going to buy a new Yukon!

A parent in my kids school has a black label, it’s 2 years old and the leather seats up front look horrible, all worn out and discolored. Also I sat in the 2nd row and the seat cushion is so short, like it’s for kids only, would not be comfortable for a long drive- yes the 2nd row!

The leather on the black label door is cheap Ford, makes my “old” Escalade door leather look like it’s fit for a king.

I hope you like it but my impression is that the materials are cheap Ford.

(Oh, and Ford is about to go under, check out their financial status).

Motortrend likes it. In a nutshell they say the new exterior is evolutionary cause it was already great, but the interior is revolutionary and they nailed it. GM let Cadillac be Cadillac and make all the design decisions which is why the interior is awesome.

FWIW I have a buddy that owns a company that finds cars for people. He’s been sending my pics/info on 2018 Navi black labels. Here are the last few 2018’s being sold at auction he sent me. All are 2+ years old. What a disaster the leather is!
