I did all the interior lights and it looks badass, You should do it.
I keep thinking about this, but figure it’s already pretty damn bright. I don’t know if I want the interior that bright..

Have already completed all my interior lights with LEDs, finally did the puddle lights today with LEDs. Much brighter, and now matches the light color and brightness when I open the door.

I recently purchased my 2001 Tahoe and have done the following over a period of about two months!

Installed an aftermarket stereo because of a parasitic drain caused by the oem radio.

Removed rear speakers and sub as all were blown and falling apart and replaced them with aftermarket replacements.

Installed new headlights, full led set ups and HID kits.

Replaced the stock fog lights as the originals were burnt, inoperable and missing lenses.

Installed a curved LED light bar across front of roof!

Installed a 3" leveling kit with shock extenders and Z71 rear springs.

Replaced stock 16s with a chrome 20" inch replacement and 35x12.50x20s. The tires came with wheels. No scrubbing as of yet but I'll be replacing tires with 33s later on!

An exhaust system will be next along with new leather seat covers! My front seats aren't bad at all but I'd like them to look better! The last picture is the Tahoe at the home of the man I purchased it from!

My next issue is to trace source of a recent problem. My ABS and Brake lights are on now. Ugh lol...

Looks really good. Welcome. We need some interior pics. Check your solder joints in your abs unit under the truck. They tend to crack--needing to be reflowed--usually.

I'll check tomorrow. I was hoping to have enough time tomorrow to check all grounds as well.

I'll also post pictures of headlights and LES light bar as well! It is insanely bright!

Back in Louisiana so work on the Escalade is on hold at the moment. Nevertheless, it is far along on the list of mods where it could use a good little break. Work on the Duramax however has completely ramped up. I have things going on at the shop installing the audio and working the suspension, at the powder coat shop. with the painter etc. Glad the holidays are over so that the shipping time and charges get sort of back to normal. LOL

Alignment and tire balance

Little miffed the tech didn't touch toe on the left side. It's like he saw green and hit go. But it's a ******* hundredth from being out. Just the "good enough" treatment. I put antiseize on all the threads and make sure the stuff is easy to turn. It's not like it's some rusty shit box where ya gotta be scared about breaking shit.

And the place that balanced didn't read my notes about explicitly wanting stick on weights as opposed to the clip on variety (which I personally despise for all except steel wheels)

*******... No one takes any pride. Blows my mind. Is it so hard to just give a damn?

Add alignment machine and tire outfit to my list of lotto winnings purchases.

Maybe go with a colored one to tone it down like blue or red?
Yeah. I considered blue. Even bought the replacement kit for it, but have changed my mind on that one. (They’re for sale if anyone wants them!) If I do actually need light, I want light. Lol. If I end up doing LEDs inside, other than the cluster and dash that I’ve already done, I’ll likely get warmer white, in the 4000-4500k range.
