Someone posted this link from Range Technology a while back. Might read what they have to say about items on WOOT, Amazon or eBay. Sounds like a Buyer- Beware situation.Just in case anyone is looking for one.
So i'm going to purposely play dumb here, go easy on me...
Why would I, the owner of a GMT900 SUV, care if i'm getting an older version of the disabler? It's not like anything has changed in my truck in regards to AFM...what disabled AFM six years ago will still disable it today...correct? From what I understand, it's only an issue in newer, updated vehicles that they had to update the disabler for.
I suppose my issue is that I can see why this would be a problem for vehicles that Range Tech has had issues with...but the 900's have never been an issue. So it seems to me like this is a pretty safe buy.
