New water pump-had mine off thought was fine but one day went to spin it for whatever reason and it would hardly spin. New starter and bolts, old one busted when it went boom. Some 6an ptfe hose and fittings- may redo trans cooler lines, heard some horror stories and may need a little for stock fuel lines (may redo also)

What brand starter did you go with? I’ve been thinking about replacing my original on my 02 because it’s been in for 165k but I see 2 AC Delco remans , one is OE but twice as expensive as the other at $200. Then there’s an AC Delco Professional brand new for $130.

got it out of crate (they send on engine legs already but need on stand to rotate)
wanted to atleast close it up and bag it for the weekend.
they didnt send the windage tray so the oil pan is just on there hand tight, need to pull to it it on, the pickup tube, etc.

diamond pistons, carillo rods, callies crank, heads are frankenstein "cheaper" heads basically cast over seas- cnc'd and assembled here for LS3 intakes. cam motion cam. 427 cubes

and its a dart ls-next block, kind of important

I hear you. I’m not sure how long before I racked up too many tickets to stay insured if I had that motor in mine. Mines just a blown and cammed 6.0 and even though I went for 15 years without a ticket, I just got 2 speeding tickets and one was for 30 over the 60 mph limit screaming past an unmarked Tahoe. Luckily both won’t appear on my driving record due to fortunate circumstances but now I’m basically on probation in 2 states lmao.

i have resorted to hiring "ticketclinic" and challenging every ticket i receive no matter how guilty I am. Worst case has just been court cost and in person defensive driving class
