2 port or 3 fuel pump

Has anyone upgraded to a 3 port fuel pump
Can I just cap off the third port
Will this give me codes
Auto parts stores are closed right now and I really need to be able to drive in the morning

I'm not sure but my truck has a 2-port and the one I got to replace it with is a 3 port and apparently the tanks are just different enough I believe the third line is an EVAP line or has something to do with fuel Cooling
