6 Gallons of 5W-30

$52 plus shipping ($15) from Rock Auto. Throw in some filters and it’s a crazy deal! Keep in mind their ACDelco UltraGuard filters are like 50%+ cheaper than the big box stores and Amazon.

I got this and two UltraGuard filters for the C7 Vette for like $80 delivered with tax. I drive about 33,000 miles a year so this will will get me about four oil changes and two in the wife’s truck.

6 gallons (24 quarts)?

Wow, that's only like $2.79/qt or $13.96 for 5qt jug equivalent shipped.

Mobil 1 5qt jug is about $23 ($4.60/qt)

Got a link to the oil? I can't seem to find it on their site.

I'm pretty sure that's the same oil I've just started using but in 5 qt bottles, great oil. That's a fantastic price. Will confirm on tomorrow.

Yep, that's the stuff for aluminum motors. Also sell it in 55 gallon drums!

Couldn't find it either on Rock Auto.

Holy crap I just checked RockAuto’s website and the ENTIRE LINE of AC Delco oil is GONE! Did I break the back of Rock Auto?? Lol.

Anyways, when and if it comes back available, if you combine the order with other items the shipping cost is offset. Don’t forget to use the unlimited 5% off codes too.
People gripe about RockAuto’s shipping costs but their parts prices are sometimes 5x cheaper than anywhere else.

It’s back in stock. That is weird that the pulled all ACD oil offline for a few days.

They pulled them off to get rid of the resellers who latch on to “hot deals” and take away from the actual customers.

I'm guessing this will work in non-aluminum motors also? Like my 2001 Yukon SLT with the 5.3l. I believe it's iron block/aluminum heads

It is just regular full-synthetic oil. You can use this in your car, your truck, and your lawnmower (I use it in my generator). It doesn't matter if the block is aluminum or cast-iron. Its good quality OE oil at an amazing price. I just used this to change the oil in my in-law's C7 vette. I used a couple of clean and empty Amsoil jugs. I have the 6-gallon boxed oil on a high shelf and I refilled the 4-quart Amsoil jugs and then poured them into the engine just like normal. I might be buying a couple more of these boxes. My brother tried to order two of them but he said the shipping was a little too much. He ended up ordering the box oil plus a few oil filters and it definitely splits up the shipping portion very well. People still complain about the shipping but it is a cost that the manufacturer has to charge. The prices are RockAuto are still extremely cheaper than other vendors such as eBay, Amazon, and all of the local stores like Autozon, Pep Boys, Advance, and such. Plus they sell good quality parts and have great customer service (online only, no voice calls).

To get the 5% code for RockAuto, just google "rockauto coupon". Usually, the retailmenot web site will have a link that will show a good 5% off code. Also, RockAuto emails me a new code once a month or so.

Shipping to my home is $18.99, but who cares when it comes down to $2.99 per quart? Where else can one buy top quality fully synthetic oil for that price?

I just bought three 5 quart bottles for $70.62 or $4.71 per quart and that was a deal! I'll be buying some of that!

That is not even a good deal
If you want a Real steal of a deal 5 gallons of mobil1 5w30 for $28 after mail in rebate 4x5qt = 20qt = 5gallon

20$ ea at walmart +12+12+12+12 rebate =$28 after rebate (plus applicable sales tax) other weights are eligible as well

$52 (plus applicable sales tax)after rebate with 4 oil filters

5 gallons +4 oil filters = $52. now thats a special 15-19$ shippings costs off sets buying another 5 qt which will get you over the 6 gallon mark.. (6.25gallons)
(you will need some 1 else to do the rebate for you on the 5th 5qt)

$1.40 per qt...

I used up all my rebates so i have to have someone else do them.. to collect more rebates.. almost free oil :)

according to mobil1 it only excluding amazon.com

so walmart is eligible but to be safe i'd do instore pick up

Actually you’re wrong it’s an AMAZING DEAL. I paid $52 for six gallons of 100% synthetic OE oil. The shipping component is quite less as I purchased other items that are included in the $15 shipping fee. We are talking about $10 per GALLON of oil with NO REBATES.

Your example is clouded as now one would be forced to play the rebate game. I have done this before with the Mobile 1 rebates and I am still missing $50 from them. The only rebate scheme that has actually been honest with shipping out checks is Menards. Plus they don’t wait six months.

So RockAuto regularly priced OE oil = instant gratification.

Mobile 1 rebate scheme = six months later you **might** get a check.

The only oil I am seeing today at Rockauto is the synthetic blend, not 100%
Did they remove the full synthetic?

I usually get the 5qt jugs of Mobil at Walmart, and do the rebate when available. My wife works for Walmart and I get a 10% discount on everything.

This ACDelco oil from RockAuto is still a great deal!

I ordered a box of oil, 4 oil filters, and replacement ACDelco heater line/core "Y" fittings and paid the same shipping of $15.99 for all. I also used a 5% off code. $135 total for everything, shipped.

The fittings were the lowest price I've found at $18 and $24, even lower than ebay. I got the fittings as a preventative measure. My 01 Yukon stopped putting out front heat last winter and I'm going to back flush the heater core. It has the original fittings with 205k miles on them and figured best to replace them while I have them apart.
