Has anyone swapped out their Corsa sport muffler for something else? The Corsa sport was a little loud for me when i installed it and now the mods im adding are making it too much.

Does anyone know if there is a bolt in replacement option out there or does anyone know how to get hold of a Touring muffler? Getting a touring by itself doesn't sound promising talking to Corsa.

Was it a straight bolt in like the Corsa or did you have it welded up?

Yes if you like the sound and tone of the Corsa muffler, but just want to reduce the noise level try adding in a resonator. I know there isn't a lot of straight sections in the exhaust system but you could definitely add one in right over the rear axle similar to the stock resonator location. This will reduce the noise volume and get rid of any raspiness.

I realize these videos are with a Silverado and the 5.3, but it will give you an idea of the before and after noise level with adding a resonator to Kooks headers and Corsa exhaust.

Oh that is nice. I still have my factory resonator. Is that what you used?

I should clarify that the above videos aren't of my personal vehicle, just what I found on youtube searching for "Kooks Corsa Resonator".

That being said, the 2nd video "With Resonator" the owner mentions in the description that the resonator he added was a
Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator Part #: 1142

You can find them for about $85-$95 and they do very much resemble the shape (and function) of the stock resonator but they're constructed of stainless steel which will probably go better with your Corsa stainless steel exhaust. Just pick one up and have a local exhaust shop weld it in for you, I bet you'd have about $125 +/- wrapped up in adding that to your current exhaust system.
