but it tightened up good, letting the sealant sit for a day or two before i put oil in it anyway. if it leaks i'll get it welded in the same spot.exhaust....need to finish out exhaust, thinking about putting a cut out in it though or atleast welding in the ypipe for one later

...i dropped the return down as low as i could on the pan and am going to try a threaded fitting in the pan (1/2 npt), cleaned pan used some gm thread sealer (same used for oil pressure gauge). it was real close to the bottom of the pan, like cutting threads into floor of the pan
This is the return oil line from the turbo? I thought it was a gravity drain, which means you should have it drain into "open air" inside the pan.
I wouldn't doubt your knowledge with this stuff, so I'm sure I'm just misunderstanding something.
nah youre right i explained it weird...it's still way up above where the pan forms a sump. pretty much in line with the front axle, in that area the pan is probably only 2" tall or so (to clear the front axle) but the pickup tube runs right along the side and is about 3/4" so i am at the bottom of that 2" high part
Now we’re havin fun
Snail bigger than my futureTranny cooler turned into mess...block for 6l80 to 6an fittings goes straight out into the front driveshaft, so I need to work with the stock block, I just slid some hose over the ends and halfassed it in there.
Also making some rattling sound from converter/flex plate area in park/neutral dunno, goes away with a light blip of throttle or when put in gear.
Turned the 90 for intake down a little seems to work
Couple random pics, tied exhaust back in
