Hillbilly's 2012 Tahoe LTZ Build

So, I sold my truck the other day, and picked up a clean 2012 Tahoe LTZ. 71k on the clock, fully loaded. Silver with black leather. Absolutely love it so far.

Plans are to do 20% tint. BDS or Cognito 4" lift with Fox 2.0 c/o's. 22x10s, thinking AF Decoy SS, or Hostile Exiles in chrome. Not sure of tires yet, but they will be 33s. I'm going to pull all the badging off. Full LED upgrade on all the lights, not messing with HIDs this go round. Probably going to add Billet bowties front and back.

This is what I plan on starting with over the next couple months. Want to do more of a clean build this time. CAI and tune might come later on.

Been looking at what 4" lifts are available for this year Tahoe, and it looks as if its BDS or Cognito. I think Cognito with Fox C/O's is the direction I'm gonna go. Keep the track width in.

Debadged and did a quick wash. Didnt get to pinstripe though. I'm going to get a heat gun to help with that..

Out of curiousity, anyone know if the VLEDS low/high beam bulbs will fit due to the bracket behind the healight assembly?

Got windows tinted 15% all the way around, 5% brow on the windshield. Post pics when I get some.

So, I went ahead and order a CCM level kit for the time being. Not sure as though I still wanna go 4" lift yet, but I gotta at least level it out for the time being. Looking at pics, the level seems to look a little better than a 4". To me, there just seems to be too much of a gap in the wheel well with 33's. Still prolly going to go with the Fox's though. I'm guessing if I keep the level (2.5" in front, 1" in rear) that I will have some trimming to do with a x10 wheel and 33's?

Contemplating right now on whether or not to drop the monies on Cognito UCAs. Probably will end up ordering Foxs this weekend, but buyers remorse is setting in and haven't bought them yet. Thought about Bilsteins to go with level though, get Fox later. Decisions decisions.

Pinstripe is gonna go. Weather has been shit here, super cold. I had family in town the past two weeks too. Its definitely going to come off though. I cant stand that thing.

End game is to have a nicely built ride. Itll probably end up lifted 4" in the end. I'd want the Foxs for the better ride/have coilovers, and the bonus of being rebuildable. I do plan on having this for a while.

Been a while since I've been on here, almost forgot about it....lol. Its been a busy year. Wife and I have been busy since I was last here. Did alot of traveling last year, both for recreation and work. Bought a house the day after Xmas and been working on that. Got a nice big shop with it, so pretty happy about that.

Tahoe has been neglected a bit, not been able to do anything with it except normal maintenance. Got around to cleaning it up over the weekend. Came out pretty good. Love me a clean Tahoe.
