Im ok with buying the last in model year. I needed a change, an xl and a 6.2, the price was right so i jumped. The wife and i got on a plane and drove it home 2 days after Christmas. Not sure what the 2020’s will look like and these bodies have grown on me over time. Plus i dont like buying first model year of any car and I figured by this model year any problems have been worked out. Whatever
Its a nice ride and im very happy with it.

Makes perfect sense. I totally agree. I love this body style, the 6.2, and the XL’s space is so useful. (I love mine) and you bought the perfect one.

Been that you are a frank person, and without offending anybody, do you ever going back to 5.3 engine?

Wouldn’t say no to 5.3 in a tahoe but on a long body.....i think the extra weight needs the extra displacement...
the 6.2 moves though....and the 10sp just keeps rowin thru them gears....

Same here, I can't wait for spring though...

Been in MI for most of my life, but I can’t get used to this crap. Negative temps just not fit for human beings. Got 2 v8s wrapped up in the garage I haven’t heard in 3 months. Can’t wait to drive those again.
And apparently this is still warm. Getting to -15 overnight a few times next week. Can’t wait until I retire and head south.
