Damn talk about low mileage! I thought my silverado was low but you got me beat on that one!

Also ew amber lol. Thankfully FL we don't have to worry about that. All my vehicles (and family) all have white turns up front and no amber in the lens.
Amber is required in all 50 states. Just cops have bigger problems than amber turns. Specially in FL lol

Actually, most states say that front signals can be white, Amber, or a color between white & Amber. Example:

(d) A turn signal lamp shall emit:

(1) a white or amber light, or a color between white and amber, if the lamp is mounted on the front of the vehicle;  or

(2) a red or amber light, or a color between red and amber, if the lamp is mounted on the rear of the vehicle.

And another, from CO:

2) Any motor vehicle may be equipped, and when required under this Code shall be equipped, with lamps showing to the front and rear for the purpose of indicating an intention to turn either to the right or to the left. Such lamps showing to the front shall be located on the same level and as widely spaced laterally as practicable and when in use shall display a white or amber light, or any shade of color between white and amber, visible from a distance of not less than one hundred feet to the front in normal sunlight, and the lamps showing to the rear shall be located at the same level and as widely spaced laterally as practicable and, except as provided in section 215.5, when in use shall display a red or amber light, or any shade of color between red and amber, visible from a distance of not less than one hundred feet to the rear in normal sunlight. When actuated, such lamps shall indicate the intended direction of turning by flashing the light showing to the front and rear on the side toward which the turn is made.
(3) No stop lamp or signal lamp shall project a glaring or dazzling light.

Though, (3) leaves it pretty wide open for interpretation.. [emoji849]

Lots is left for interpretation lol. Says you can have all amber tail lights:think:. I know most vehicles 60s and older had white only signals up front. So maybe some states probably haven't revised the law:shrug:
But yet in the united states d.o.t. requires that front turn must be amber on all new cars.
In the end cops dont care, laws are vague, but if it's bad enough insurance can use it against you

I don’t know myself either man. I mean who worries about rust so much?

Might as well be a northeast truck in the state it’s in. Rusty lugs.....sheesh

@Fosscore , 78,000, your truck is but a baby! Keep it running good!

I know. Just tying to keep up on appearance and an eye on maintenance. Not being my DD helps limit that abuse.

I try to drive it a couple times a week for errands and kids activities, but put the around town wasted miles and hauling stuff on the work Suburban.

Good info on the white/amber laws and wide gap for interpretation.

There is more to the FLPD to attend to, but I try to be cognizant of their locations and drive conservatively as much as possible.

Sometimes still gotta put some punch into the BB! Lol

If these parking lights die, I will get a set and put those switchbacks LEDs in there.
