like 2elo said. 15 dollars can save you alot of headache. Just know that its really hard to troubleshoot a misfire and if you get a harness thats one last thing to worry about. I got a harness on mine and i had my first problem. Drivers side did not light up until i turned off the light and turned it back on. this rarely happens but i would like to make it so that it never happens. anyone have an idea?

ok this is happening to me too. but i do NOT have the harness. Ill turn on the truck both headlights come on, then the drivers goes out, i turn the lights off then back on and they seem to work fine for the whole drive. But its weird cause YUKON07ARTIC has the harness and i dont and we seem to have the same problems. so im in the same boat, anyone?

Ok, so I went out the other day to try to figure out why my passenger side light wasnt working. I checked the fuses again, and the right headlamp fuse was blown. I replace it and what do you know, two low beam headlamps again.

So, I really want to throw the HID's back in, but I'm curious what could have caused this problem in the first place?? They worked fine for a week. Any ideas? I will probably order a relay, but not to sound cheap, I dont want to order one, put it in and still have a problem, you know?

I just switched the drivers side bulbs to passeger side and vice versa. Im trying to troubleshoot my lights. It will either be a bad ballast or bad bulb. I will find out its the bulb issue if my passenger side misfires instead of the drivers side after the switcheroo. ill notify you.

Another thing was, when i first installed the ddm hit kit, my corner lights blew for whatever reason... i just replaced my corner lights with smts. does anyone know if the hid's can misfire if the corner lights are blown???

Ok, so I just hung test both bulbs and both ballasts individually on each side (to Isolate what might be the problem) and it blew that sides fuse every time..... (damn I'm getting good at pulling those headlight assemblies lol) Maybe a bad ballast or ignitor?

I suggest you returning a kit and getting a whole different set altogether, including a wire harness. make sure your grounds are solid.

Have you tried pulling the HID unit all the way out and clean and check all wires and connections then swap the sides they were on. What happens then? Just a thought to try and find whats wrong

How are the relayys installed? Do you replace the existing relay, or do you add it? Thanks
