How can I run a double din hu (so I can see my streaming music on the screen and add a back up camera) while retaining the onstar, Xm, and keep the factory Bluetooth mic.
Or is there a way to stream Bluetooth and keep xm and have song info displayed on the factory radio? And would it be easier to do the rear view mirror monitor with onstar?
I also want to add the sub under the console...I will do the line out converter or the rcas from the head unit ...depending on the direction I go. And I want to keep steering wheel controls with both options.
My truck is a 2009 LT, no Bose, no factory amp, remote start.

Quick Question, I replaced the factory radio with an Alpine I noticed I've lost the turn signal sounds. Anyway to bring it back?

I have a 2008 Tahoo LTZ with Bose, Nav, Onstar, and RES. I just installed Pioneer AVH-2440NEX. Bought from Crutchfield with Maestro iDatalink module. Everything works with steering controls, warning chimes, backup camera, and DVD playing on rear screen. The one thing I didn't think about beforehand when researching HUs, was the wireless headphones. With the factory unit, the kids could watch DVD's in back and listen on wireless headphones, while the wife and I listened to the radio through the speakers. I can't seem to figure out how to get this function to work on my new Pioneer. Anyone have any ideas? Crutchfield guys said on some radios it works, some it doesn't, but couldn't find any written specs on which ones retain the function. ????
in the head unit menu when you are playing a video go back to the menu and select "mirror" on the source, then go back to radio and radio will play in front and video will play in back thru ir

Unfortunately you will not have that option with the pioneer. It only has video out on the radio. When you are playing a dvd on the head unit it is playing through the car speakers so there is no need for headphones. When you change sources the dvd output goes away. You need a radio with dual zone like stated earlier. These offer you the option to play a dvd and have the AV out go to the overhead. You can change the source up front and it will still deliver video to the overhead at the same time. Higher end pioneers like the 8200NEX have that option. In a Kenwood most of their excelon units do it. One similar to what you have is the DDX9905. We have the older DDX9903 in our 08 LTZ and it does exactly what you want yours to do.

Guys. I have the 2010 LT Tahoe and do not have the back up camera but i do have the parking assist. Upon shopping for a camera and options, I have moved to replacing the receiver with one that has camera options and apple car play, DVD, etc. This put me at Best Buy talking it over with a young guy that had most likely installed nothing but a steering wheel in a Lego car. The pc he used pulled up this list of things i would need to ensure all factory options would continue to work. RPS-GM31- PAC radiopro5 Radio interface, 40-CR10 Metra-Chrysler vehicle antenna adapter cable, AX-USB-Minib - Access USB adapter harness 2010 later vehicles, BBBPC - Metra Licence plate back up camera, AVH-2330NEX- Pioneer android autoapple carplay bluetooth in dash cd/dvd player receiver.
His words were, "It should work". So my concerns are..Will my parking assist and rear passenger stereo controls still work?
I have installed many stereos in my time but only had to worry about the antenna and rca jacks. This one may be outside of my field. The other thing is every time i have installed an aftermarket receiver, the FM stereo never sounds as good as the factory(cd and mp3 is great). Will this be the case in replacing the unit also?
