Okay, this might not make sense. My mom had an '04 tahoe ls years ago, and i swear i remember the radio displaying the track name and artist from CDs while playing them. I have an '05 now, and it doesn't do this. Am i crazy or is it a setting that i can change bc i really would like to see track names instead of "TRACK 1" etc etc.
thanks all.

features on a cd can change from cd to cd some do not add the track name and the radio may or may not display it, if it does there will be a button on the radio to press that will cycle thru things like remaining time, or time till end of track and may also cycle to title. like james said review the owners manual if do not have one they are all online on the gm website in PDF format.

in the manual for mine it doesn't mention anything, but when i put the CDs into anything else it shows the names on the tracks... idk this is odd
I just noticed on my friends' cars it displayed the track titles

Its simply the CD. If it's a burned CD, then you have to add that information in certain areas of the song description before burning the CD

I have a 2004 Yukon XL Denali with the stock Bose system. Mine only shows name of songs when playing the radio. When playing CD’s (either on the deck or 6 CD Changer), it only shows disc and track number.
