Didnt the berlinetta’s come with v6’s

You mean the 1980s ones? Yeah, I think they were 2.8s at first. Now that you mention it, I think they used the Berlinetta name on the 2nd Gen F-Bodies too. What V6s did they have then? The Chevy 231 (was really a 232?) and the Buick 231 and what else? My buddy's '78 Camaro had the straight 6, couldn't kill it, we tried!

In North America, Chevrolet also produced a version of the Camaro called the Berlinetta, from 1979 to 1986.[3] The Berlinetta model was marketed as having a luxury focus, through interior features and softer suspension.

I remember the 3rd Gen models with unique wheels and dash and interior colors. Weren't fast, a euro theme to them, girly cars. No, no, not Dustin's 2nd Gen, that one is quite masculine with the grill and wheels!

Some had the fancy digital dashes with radio pod that swung around. Fancy but they were gutless wonders.

Doesn't look too different from the Espirit's that James Rockford used to drive around in! Brings back a lot of memories, my buddy's first car was a '78 Camaro in that color, I was still too young to drive and got a lot time riding shotgun all over South Florida and the Keys after school and summers. Did they really have a 305 V8s back in '77?
Yeah from what I have read they came with a v6, 301, 305 & 350.

I picked up a clean 98 Sierra yesterday. The seller described it needing a battery and radiator for $500. I took off work early the next day and picked it up. Wouldn’t start at the guys house with a new battery. Got home and got it started. Found it had no antifreeze. So I filled it with water to inspect further. When I pulled the dipstick I found water in the oil. Ran fine and had no noises. Not throwing any codes. I decided to take a gamble hoping it was the intake gasket. I am pretty sure and hope that the intake gaskets fix it! Ended up paying $400.

Oh forgot to mention the trailer lights and brakes had been chewed threw. So I took it pretty slow on the way home. First task of the day was to rewire the trailer.

I got the 98 cleaned up and sold. Drove it a little over 100 miles. Intake gaskets were the fix!!! So I went and bought my next project.

2005 Tahoe 4.8 2wd LS. Has a few options but pretty basic. It was listed as having 261,*** miles. The cluster was set to kilometers. So it actually had 162k. Everything works just needs a good detail and wax. Does need some trim pieces here and there.

Took off the plasti dipped molding. Going to take off the rest of the dip on the wheels and bumper also.

A little progress on the 05 Tahoe.

Completed so far....
Factory 22s
Power washed carpet
New console lid
Oil pressure switch
Passenger mirror glass
Key
Key fob
Passenger Tail light
Plastic foot well cover by gas pedal
New steering wheel

Whoever installed the aftermarket CD player didn’t use any modules to retain onstar, chime or steering wheel controls. I replaced it with a factory radio that I had laying around that way everything works again.

Just took out the headliner. Not sure if I am going to tackle the headliner. A local place only wants $125.

The bumper was pushed in on the passenger side. Fixed that with a ratchet strap and a tree.

Also replaced the lower valance and fog lights.

Once the interior is done I will start on the paint. I will send it off for PDR and then a wax and polish.
