I have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe with the digital climate control panel in the dash. My AC compressor kicks on, the display shows the fan speed going up/down as I press the buttons, but the blower motor doesn't kick on at all.

Part's I've replaced:
Blower Motor Fuse
Blower Motor Resistor and Connections

I hooked the motor up straight to the battery, it spins when connected directly to power so I don't think dumping money into a new motor will fix my problem.

Is the only thing left the control unit? I really hope not because these digital ones are $$$$$$$.

Any help is appreciated!

Do you have access to an advanced scan tool like the Tech2 Daniel? It will have the internal BCM codes for why it's not working or at least where to look. New parts are often faulty, have you re-tested the new resistor to make sure it is working? Is it AC Delco or aftermarket?

I've got a OBDII reader that does one hell of a job accurately interpreting Chevy's OEM codes - is that what you're talking about or is this a different kind of device?

It's not AC Delco, it's aftermarket from Amazon.... but it got great reviews! lol --- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078J3B4S8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

How would I go about testing the resistor?

Thanks!

Maybe, can it read BCM codes? Most code readers only deal with the engine and transmission.

Check rockauto, prices for a control unit aren't that bad

I know this was a few months ago. Did you have any luck? I've replaced my blower motor resistor with harness and blower motor with no results
