Very nice! i had a feeling your Christmas Light setup would be as cool as your Tahoe lighting :)
Thanks. Yea this is why I don't have time for the truck , is because stuff like this during the holidays lol. Its fun but it's over now. Time to get back to the tahoe and finally finish it up this spring. (Well never finished but you know what I mean)

been a month. anything new, Dave?

Not yet this year. Drove it to Homer and back for the funeral over the weekend. 250 miles each way. All hwy....except here our hwy is only 2 lanes. Half mountain pass, half flat long stretch roads. Tahoe did great, light luggage and just my cousin , me and the wife riding. No radio stations or cell coverage in the pass. So movies it was. Came back yesterday during the super bowl. First super bowl in my life I didn't care to watch. Was glad to hear the Pats got killed lol (I should've bet lol)

Been a while since I drove this road in this weather, about 8 years. Had it in 2wd most the way on 20s with well used tires, slid few times around a few corners passing some slow folk. Held a steady 60-65 when others were doing 50 or less....but made it the trip no problemo....I still got it, beast driving skills :driver:

It's been a slow and tough way to start the new year. But I should be back on the mod wagon soon again.:console:

yea yea, i grew up seeing it but its still a nice view unlike anywhere in the U.S.

We're coming back in late spring to spread the ashes. Summer is beautiful here. Great place to visit, not live.

Man that’s beautiful. Oregon has places that are close to that beautiful but not quite as isolated. And this winter our frozen stuff stayed up in the mountains thank God. Our city has no idea how to handle snow and ice. Nice to hear the Tahoe did good. And that you still got the skills!

Yea I lived in Seattle and Portland. Watching people freak out in just a light dusting is funny. They can barely handle the rain down there lol

Those views are spectacular! That ski area looks like it has lotsa real snow! As much as I hate driving my Denali in the snow and having it get filthy, I could use some real snow! Lol

Anyway the final outcome. About 10 times as bright as factory, even with a drop in led bulb.
Won't have any problems finding this thing parked in the dark lol.

Ok had everything set up and routed just not tapped for power.

View attachment 172351

Went to tap into the harness and find the dim switch and it ended up being the first wire I picked (that never, never, never happens). Lol
View attachment 172352

When it's one wire and a simple low voltage part like two 194 leds I just splice in like this. Quick easy and simple.
View attachment 172353

Fyi this is how I tapped into the harness under the dash for the footwell lights

Was gonna just tap into the radio illumination but I just did it this way so it only comes on at night with the headlights.

Yea we had a late winter but it finally came just in January and has been snowing at least an inch everyday since up until today, and it still snowed today lol.

far from it. Just a basic knowledge. I try and do simple projects that are user friendly for any level of experience modder. But thanks for the compliments :D
And we didn't have that much snow that 2016 year.

I have some more mods cooking up but have yet to start them till next week. :buffer:
