Damn straight!
Just curious, what does the kit look like? Have a link to those vids?bought me a leather sewing needle kit. 8 bucks for thread and needles, ill give it shot. better then 200 bucks.
see if i can do 1/2 as well as tonyrodz there. i found a few vids on yt showing how to re sew leather. dont look so hard to make a hidden stitch. how they tie it off at the ends and then run the extra thread back under was pretty cool to watch too.
I do that sometimes myself. Kills your fingers.its just 4 curved needles i bought the strongest thread the girl said they had, nylon iirc.
theres another on a sofa seam, same thing thicker leather, guy needed needle nose pliers to push the needle through.
Lol, don't be delicate! I start the car and put the heat on full blast. You can't wear gloves to sew. I use this thread. Great for leather and it's heavy duty.im sure i could make short work of my tear, but its to damn cold to be outside sewing. i can wait for a bit warmer day, or less to no wind would work too. i cant see doing it with gloves on in 20 degree temps and 20 mph wind lol
I've worked outside since 87 and the older I get, the more the cold is getting to me. I also used to plow for the DOT. Good times.i try not to do winter no more. im laid off till spring. sold the plow and truck off years ago. so i hibernate a few months, with any luck the wind will die down. its howling the last couple days.

Georgia? I forgot already.Working outside through Chicago winters is the one thing I don't miss at all on my new(ish) gig.

I like the black leather look. How about a black suede headliner? Treat that Hoe nice.Time for a change... I like the bare guts style. It’s a stage one weight reduction lmao. It’s time to change out all the tan interior for black!!! But it’s a 14 yr old tahoe. Yeah but it’s a 14 yr old tahoe with 11inches of lift on 37’s that has never left me stranded or let me down. I love this damn thing! **** yeah she deserves it! Black carpet, black leather seats, might two tone and go tan from the bottom of the windows up. But none the less my hoe deserves it! Thoughts, ideas and suggestions are, of course, more than welcome brothers!

Foss, you've got vision manWant to see the black leather seats or even dark blue.
Two tone seat inserts, maybe some contrasting stitching. Blank palette. Many options. Maybe need some PS mock ups to see. Will be cool.
