Line-X OEM roof rack and plastic accents

So I upgraded my wheels and tires to black. My stock roof rack is fading and sun stripped in areas. I'm thinking about doing a Flat black Line-X on the roof rack and all the plastic trim that is now a faded grey. the side accents and the bumper accents. Anyone have any experience or thoughts?

I would be interested also but not if you have to remove all those pieces.If it can be done with everything left on i would be in.

I think the idea is awesome but you may want to check out raptor liner. It might be better stuff. Most people know line-x and rhino simply because of marketing or a friend got it on their truck...................because of marketing!

i actually painted a whole truck before with Line-X / Rhino Liner and even done colored (tintable) liner on Truck Beds.
As with anything being painted, as long as your surface has been properly prepped and cleaned and scuffed the product will adhere and last for a very long time. I was spraying through a gun and a decent compressor.
Yours should be easier since it is faily easy to remove the roof rack and those pieces and just do them one by one without having to tape off your vehicle.

I got my stuff from an Auto Paint shop but i believe they sell stuff at AutoZone and OReillys that will do the deed including roll-on applications.

In other words, yes you can and it should be fairly easy

Have a look at @Cattivo's build thread. He sprayed his entire truck with Herculiner. Just as another option to consider, but then again @Sevenevez knows his paint too. Look at that newly painted Denali!

Stock height but have Pro Comp ES9000 shocks. The tires are 285/70/17 Cooper Discoverer STT Pros on Pro Comp 7032 Flat Black wheels

Yea I don't see too many of the Bermuda Blue around. I love the color. Your stuff looks good! I need to figure out if I want to do it my self or just have it done. Thanks for the info

Includes removal and re-installation of all the trim and roof rack to spray, brand new clips for all the plastic trim, the tougher line-x on the rockers and the new ultra coating on the roof rack. Getting it done one Tuesday, so I will post some good before and after photos once its done.

That is cheap including removing all the z71 trim all along the side also-post a pic of the bill they will have to match the price at my local line-x i would imagine.It would look so much better with all the gray faded parts linex black.

Dropped it off yesterday. Hopefully it will be done today or in the morning. Pics will come this weekend when I get some time in the Daylight to take some! Decided to do the rear faux vents above the tail lights and the chevy emblem on the grill too.
