you guys should try the smell of 200,000 mile used supercharger oil, 10 times worse then old gear oil. you really need to wear latex gloves, it stays with you for days. no soap work well enough.

Replaced the original 129,500 m wires with these bad boys. My aunt told me it's the weirdest gift that she's ever bought for someone.

I had a scare with the power steering yesterday driving around the airport. I removed the drive-belt & felt no resistance from the pump so I replaced some of the fluid and purged it really well. Hope it doesn't fail on my 30-mile trip back home tonight

We do secret santa with my wife’s sisters/husbands there’s like 10-12 of us (always 1 couple that cant afford it...or some excuse) and when i make my list for ideas I always make it automotive related...they are all mechanically/handyman challenged... and they all ask/say that’s weird or what does that do or whats it for?.... sometimes i dont know how certain people get by in life...smh

Good luck with the ps pump, worst case you have to manhandle it...like the old days ..;)

Edit* thats a clean ass engine comp for 130k

Just ordered clear corner lights to replace the damaged ones now. Some switchback LEDs, reverse lights and plate lights along with replacing the interior dome LEDs

Gonna pick up a new starter tomorrow sometimes I get a dead key and it doesn't start. I'll wash and take pics tomorrow

I did that to mine a while back. Then put some 9005 led bulbs in them. Just opened the hole up a little, then siliconed the bulb in. All good! Mainly just wanted a white light down there to match my hids. And I had the 9005 bulb on hand

How is the cutoff? Id do something like that if it doesnt blind people

I understand that, but has anyone installed one here? Or a link to another forum? I've seen some installed on Google, but they are of those $1k+ grilles which is friggin stupid expensive

i have installed a couple inserts and my recent grille is an overlay. You can make an insert an overlay and you can make an overlay an insert if you want. An insert will come with brackets and instructions on how to mount it. But there are always different ways to do it. You really just need a dremel or a angle grinder or saw of some sorts to cut out your old grille plastic. Inserts sit deeper in the surround if you want that depth. Overlays won't be as recessed.

Theres no cutoffs on our fogs, tahoe is the closest by design, but Denali fogs are blinding with hids. Then again you're only suppose to use them in fog and not against oncoming traffic.

I've installed a few different inserts/overlays on my tahoe over the past couple years. Each time I drilled out the mounting spots on the stock insert to remove it. If I sell the truck or grille I can jb weld the oem plastic inserts back in. I'm sure it's been done before by others but I've never seen it done till I did it.
So technically the tahoe oem grille is a 4 piece grille. Not sure how the Denali is mounted together tho.

I know that there is not a hard cutoff line like on projectors but there is still an aiming effect due to the reflectors that keeps the light from just flooding in all directions i assume.

Id like to do a projector retro and run hids in mine...
