Finished the wheels and emblems. Also washed and waxed it. In a couple weeks I'm gonna clay it, compound, polish and wax.

I'll probably redip the wheels too when it gets warmer

NNBS Escalade rims might look nice on there then they make plain or GMC center caps for them never seen them on a Denali before

I'll keep my eyes open for them. What's a typical tire size for those? Right now I'm running 305/45/22 but the new ones I'm getting are 305/40/22

285/45/22 seems to be the stock size

I replaced my DRL bulbs because the driver's side is out. But then I find out that it's not the bulb, I need a new socket for that sumbitch. I've seen them look burnt and crusty for a while now, and now this one is not working at all now. Like I need more shit to fix. Lol

That's how mine is. You wouldn't by any chance have a link to the socket you got do you? I was looking locally but I can only find 3157 and the DRLis 4114. They look the same I'm just not sure if there's a difference

I just put LEDs in there but only 1 works

No, I did NOT replace the socket yet. What I said was that I replaced the bulbs, and as I was replacing them, I noticed that the socket us so burnt up now that the bulb doesn't work, so I HAVE to replace the socket at this point. I've known this for a while though so it's not a huge surprise.
And as far as the bulbs, I've been using 3157's in my DRLs for the last 10 years. The base on the 3157 is the same as the 4114. The issue with the burnt DRL sockets seems to be a common occurrence, but I have also heard that it's caused by using 3157s instead of the 4114 bulbs. Who knows....

Question for those of you who have a 03-06. Do your map lights come on with the interior dome lights when you open a door? My map lights on my 2001 ONLY operate on the button right next to it in the overhead console.
Thinking about doing a write up on integrating them into the dome lights.

Well replacing the IACV didn't fix my cold idle issue so I took the throttle body off and cleaned it... it was pretty *****. Also cleaned the MAF while I was in there. We'll see.

Ran it through the car wash for the first time in a couple weeks since it was warmish.

Also made and installed a factory amp bypass harness. #worthit
