I think you just have to trim like an inch off the bottom and it will bolt right up.

Or the bumper cap from an HD, and you have to drop the bumper about an inch and a half.

1-1 1/2. There's also a mounting peg you'll need to cut off, then it'll bolt right up.

So I don't have to buy a new bumper just the hd bumper pad or do I need the whole hd bumper

If you want to use the HD pad you have to cut and reweld the bumper horns. (it has to drop down 1-1.5"). If you just want to use the HD grill you need to trim the grill 1-1.5"

1-1 1/2. There's also a mounting peg you'll need to cut off, then it'll bolt right up.

Exactly like Tonyrodz states. Just take your time and here's the final outcome if you go the trim route.

It's cuz I want the shape of the bumper pad so Idk if I need it all or just the pad

Just the pad, not the whole bumper. The pad is taller by the height that cuts down around the grille. The rest of the bumpers are the same.
