My 5 Alarm Hoe

I took the weekend off so I could get some work done on the Hoe but mother nature had other plans today

The Hoe's had a really rough idle lately along with horrible gas mileage, I've had to literally floor the gas pedal to keep up with the flow of traffic on the highway...I decided to clean out the throttle body and MAF to see if that would resolve the issue and it did(for now)

It idles a hell of a lot better right now and the throttle seems to be more responsive...I also bought a tub big enough to fit the intake manifold I got from @Red Rocket along with 2 gallons of simple green Amazon.com: Simple Green 11001CT Clean Building All-Purpose Cleaner Concentrate, 1gal Bottle: Industrial & Scientific to degrease the intake

Unfortunately I can't replace the intake manifold on the Hoe until I get my other trucks back from my buddys shop(getting bigger turbos installed)

Brand new throttle body cleaner cap broke as soon as my big sausage finger pushed on it lol wtf...had to use a flat head screwdriver to spray it all over me and the throttle body lol

All clean and put back together...those 2 coolant hoses attatched to the throttle body are a ***** to remove!!!

I didn't smell any gas but I did unwrap it without gloves like a dumb ass lol...she'll be good as new after a nice 24 hour bubble bath

Finally replaced my parking lights that were always fogged up with the same type...only this time I used caulk to seal them up...forgot to take pics lol

Thanks brother, I still own the Esky but I'm not crazy about the non aggressive look of the front end compared to the Hoe...when I get around to swapping everything out of the Esky, it will be nothing more than a parts truck

Just began the cleaning process on the intake manifold...I poured 2 gallons of simple green and 3 gallons of distilled water into a 5 gallon tire tube test tank and will let it sit for 24 hours to get the initial crud removed

I bought an additional 3 gallons of simple green along with 2 more gallons of distilled water and some toilet brushes to do the final cleaning hopefully this weekend if I can get off from work. Hopefully in the next week or 2 I can install the intake manifold, knock sensors and a few other parts to get the Hoe running great again

A few more mods today, swapped out the rear vent caps from the Esky to the Hoe, roof rack and the front door panels

I finally threw out that goofy looking rear visor

I also bought some new weather tech rain guards for the windows since I broke the cheap one on the rear passenger window...just add another box to the collection lol

A little love tap from my former buddy at the fire house who backed into the Hoe with the rig lol...hit the dent with a coat of plasti dip to hide the red paint

New parking lights...so far they don't fog up like the old ones

Thanks brother, I'm not really a big fan of chrome...I may hit the chrome with some black gloss paint on the roof rails and once I install the running boards
