I have mine under control. I get parts in, I install the parts, then I sell the stuff I took off and no longer need. Or sometimes I sell the stuff I end up needing later. BTW @Cattivo the intake will be there on Wednesday I believe. But right now I have a new cam, timing gear, dual valve springs, pushrods and trunion upgrade kit and I'm kind of worried about installing it all myself. I might do the valvetrain stuff myself and have a shop do the cam and timing chain. Oops sorry to jack your thread @Cattivo!!!

It's all good brother, we're all here to discuss our mods...I have no problem with others discussing anything NBS:thumbsup:

I actually forgot all about the intake manifold you sent me lol...damn brother you went balls to the walls with that engine! looking forward to sound clips! my best advice is install what you feel comfortable installing and shell out a few bucks to guarantee everything works properly if you're not comfortable...I myself would not feel comfortable installing the cam...TV shows make it look a lot easier than it is

Yeah but I'm just joking. The offset is such that they don't fit on the NBS trucks because of the brakes. It's pretty damn peculiar...

Yeah, with the blower and cam it should sound good but the headers I have planned will complete it for sure.

That should get you some nice numbers, are you going to dyno it?

I'm not too familiar with the tuning ability of your platform...If I recall your Denali was tuned? Since you're replacing the headers, why not remove all restrictions such as resonators and a full muffler delete and make her scream with some nice straight pipes...the tune should still allow you to pass emissions

Then again I could be completely wrong??? I've done that with my twin turbo engines and have managed to pass emissions with a new revised tune and installing spacers into the bung on the down pipes...not sure if the same goes for a supercharged engine

If I were closer I would help you do the swap. It's easy. I love the caddy/hoe frankinstine. I have wanted to do the same at one point but the caddy is not cheep around me. Can't justify the cost. Congratulations on getting it at a reasonable price. The 6.0 will make all the difference in your taho !! Put the 5.3 back in the caddy make it a daily for the wife and let her bomb around it that ! Both cool and a win !

I think anyone within 75 miles of NYC has road rage! people become brain dead and forget how to drive, especially on the weekends lol

I sat in 2 hours of traffic today thanks to nosey people who just couldn't resist slowing down to a dead stop on the opposite side of the highway to look at this genius 18 wheeler who hit an overpass on a non commercial highway lol

I hate rubbernecking! I remember driving on the LIE once and it started to drizzle. I swear everyone dropped down to 25 MPH! I couldn't believe it. I was driving a straight job 4,000 gal tanker. I was weaving in and out trying to get where I had to be. It was like I was driving a little vw. Lol. I don't know what that says about NY or NJ drivers.
