I woke this morning and went to start my truck and nothing. No crank no start no power. I turned the key and it blinked like it was going to start then nothing. it's acting as if there is no battery and after turning the key a few times it turned on like there was nothing wrong. The batteries are fine i checked. Yes there are dual batteries. Any ideas?

So it did start right? Sounds like a bad connection somewhere to me
It did start. Bad connection? But where could that be to kill all the power? I checked the battery cables.
Maybe look in that red box with connections in it, follow your positive battery cable to the box, open it up and see if everything is good

Sounds like a bad connection to me as well. Maybe something is corroded or just loose. If you used cheaper cables for your second battery, there could be corrosion inside of the cable itself.

Ok the battery and the no crank /start issue don't seem to be related. i went thru and checked the wiring and added a second battery. The truck will not crank and then all of a sudden After a few tries or sitting for a min will crank and start with no issue. Before i replaced the fuel pump i never had this issue. It would crank the starter would turn but no start for two tries and then start on the third. Is it possible i burned the starter with two many cranks when the fuel pump was shot? Or could it be the Ignition switch?
When you turn the key on, is there power in the vehicle? Headlights, horn, etc and just won't crank until you hit the key a few times? If that's the case, it sure sounds to me like a starter solenoid is going out.

It's most likely the starter solenoid. I don't know if you can change just the solenoid from the starter on these or if they are one unit with the starter itself. Try tapping it with a hammer first.
I would say it's not the ignition switch if your lights and radio dim when you hit the key to start it. That's current draw from the starter. If the ignition switch was flaky the lights and stuff wouldn't dim down.

Go to passenger side, look thru wheel well towards back, youll see a thick red wire there... eyeball that then go under and take a peek.... 2 bolts holding starter on easy peasy... but check wires there for corrosion, green, nasty battery term looking shit...

That is completely inaccurate in reference to the ignition switch.
Feel free to elaborate. Tell me how you will experience current draw from the starter if the ignition switch is faulty and the engine isn't cranking.
