Ive been a long time lurker, i finally decided to make a post

I bought my 1st Tahoe back in 2014 and it stayed stock for about a year when i got the bright idea to body drop it. Truck was my pride and joy until 6 months after me getting it back on the road she went down in flames. was a sad sad day for me.

At the time i was working at a shop called AllStar customs, there i built a 3/4 frame using a nbs silverado front clip so i could have rack and pinion steering. I also had another 5.3l that i was building for a body dropped s10 that i was building. I had rebuilt the motor and installed a cam and a few other small upgrades.

And then the tragic day came. Long story short rear rotor locked up and cought fire by the time i pulled over and tried to put it out it was to late. The fire spread to my fuel lines and wiring harness. so once that happened all i could do was stand by and watch her burn.

after they put the fire out we got the truck hauled home. few days later we cut the body off and i hauled it to the scrap yard got 50$ for it lol. i was able to salvage 3 wheels the frame and the running gear. i sold off the frame to help build me a shop at the house. The motor is sitting in a nissan hardbody that im building now

Since then ive had a big void in my heart that i couldnt fill until i bought another one.

So one Sunday i went and looked at this Tahoe and pulled the trigger. its an 03, has long tubes a nnbs intake and a tune. Very Very clean on the inside. it had a horrible exhaust setup on it so 1st thing i did was take it and have a full 3'' exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler put on. sounds sooo much better. I also pulled "MYHOE" off the sides lol.

I plan to ditch the esky roof rack and the esky 3rd brake light. drop it a little more and just make a clean daily driver/work truck

Oh damn glad to see you made it over here will.
I've been following your build on fb since about halfway through. I kept bugging you with questions. Love the work you did.
Was devastated the day you posted the fire. I was pissed when people asked for parts on that same post on the same day, I had to comment and talk smack back.

Super excited to see you back in another nbs tahoe. You do excellent work and can't wait to see more of it. :chewie::boti:

Thanks fellas. Like I said this one is gonna stay stockish. But I do have plans to build another bodied tahoe. Nissan may get thrown on the back burner. I've been drawing up some plans for the next tahoe build. I have a few things I wanna change/improve on this next go around.

Man I hate you right now. For the past 2 days I have been thinking about going in buying one just to do a body drop on it because I haven't really seen it and think it is badass. Then today I'm looking to see if anybody's put in 03 through 06 steering wheel into the 99 through 02 and I come across this. It is exactly what I pictured in my head it would look like completely badass. I have a 81 C10 that I've had for over 15 years now and it's body dropped on bags with a stock floor body drop that I did like over 10 years ago LOL when nobody had it and I didn't even know anything about it I just seen it come out in an issue of the trucking magazine you probably remember that issue. Me and a friend of mine both did our trucks off of that magazine and it worked out just fine. I want to do this to an Escalade and find a way to fabricate the fenders more on the sides so it doesn't have the look of that nasty big front bumper probably should section A couple of other fenders or something I can figure it out. Anyways if you have more photos of the chassis shoot them over that ***** is hard AF I shed a tear for you when I seen the photo of it burnt I have an O2 I'm working on actually as we speak either I'm putting it full Escalade interior in it out of it 04
