Fatmat VS Dynamat

I bought fatmat over the weekend to do my yukon, the hoodliners are the same price but eveything else is cheaper. Has anyone used the fat mat?

Yup! Have a couple days drive time in the car with everything back installed and the sound quality is 10x Better then it was before.

For Now I did from the back-seat back. Includes side-walls and the head-liner. Love the stuff for sure. I still need to do the doors which I am sure will kill some more noise up front where I don't have the Fat-Mat laid down yet.

I don't have pictures of all the work done but have some where I started... Will post pictures up when I do the door. BTW, If you need any help let me know.

One last thought, Buy you a good rubber roller. The cheap-wood ones that come in the kit break when you put some pressure on them.

I placed my order yesterday, got the tracking#'s today and I should have everything tomorrow, I got 50^ Ft FatMat Car Auto Sound Deadener to do the firewall to the front seats and from the rear seat and back, 80 Mil Rattle Trap Trunk Kit to do the rear fender walls and wells, and a hoodliner kit

Sounds Good man! I ordered 2 50^ Kits so I still have plenty left to finish up the front. Just need to find the time and another ride until I can get it back together.

Hood Liner kit, Huh? Personally I don't think it will make that much of a difference being that you will here the engine anyway, but let me know how that works out for ya. Hell, if it works good I will order on as well.

Not sure what the Hood-Liner Kit cost him but, the 50^ Foot kits Run about $89.99. And the Rattle-Trap kits run about the same. Check Ebay for the the stuff.

No Doubt, It is time consuming but well worth it in the end. Depending how much you want to do at a time you could remove EVERYTHING in the truck and do it all at once.

For me, I did from the backseat back and up the side where the rear-panels and seat-belt panels are. Next I will remove everything from the front of the truck and finish. Until then I pulled off my door panels and did the doors while I am waiting to finish the front.

Fat Mat Install started

Lot of snow slowed progress Saturday, that and not bringing everything I needed. Sunday got the rear seats out, carpet and sides. I used heavy rattle trap to do the rear fenders, and the 80 mil to do the deck from the rear seats on back. finished at five getting everything back together. There is a noticable difference, I'm doing the front from the firewall to the front seats after the 1st and the doors when the weather breaks and I can do it outside. After starting this project I find this probably ranks least favorite as far as doing it. Sore all over and fingers are stiff. Pictures? There are no stinking pictures. Figured it looks like all others, and I really didnt need any reason to stop working on it. Otherwise I would never have finished. Word to the wise, this is a teadious time consuming job, be prepaired for a long day
