At least it's just the Esky rack. Helluvalot less bulky than the Z71 rack. Looks good on your truck!

Second coat down. First one worked out perfectly so here's where I screw this up lol

Of all things that I probably shouldn't use... Bondo. Tried the "gold class" stuff this time and it's really easy to work with.
But the first batch went on and stuck really well with the metal and plastic with how i prepped each surface.
Just run the SS lolI will say though, I'm not a body guy. This has the likelihood to be something I regret lol
that's the plan.I thought you were making a mold for fiberglass.
You plan on sanding smooth and painting over that what you have now ?
I'm a huge fan of the different colored roof on as suv. I'll probably go glosss black when this gets a real paint job to correct the paint.I'm partial to the Esky rack of course, but left mine chrome to pick up the only accents I have around the truck. Maybe color match it like RedRocket did with his entire rack so it is useful but blends in better. I still like it though.
could... But it's too common for my personal tasteJust run the SS lol.

Yea fingers crossed. I hope it worksI don't see how there's any movement on the front edge honestly. Tried to force it with my hands and didn't get anywhere with it, but we will see.

Thats lookin awesome. What are u doing to the grille piece?
Final coat of bondo to fill the low spots and then I'll sand it smooth. Then it should be ready for primer.
Also fixed some cracks in the crossbar.
Last photo shows my wicked good hand painting skills. Had a similar designed bow tie on the last truck, figured I'd do something similar with this since it was no good anyway.
