That turned out pretty darn nice. Look forward to some better light shots when you get them.

Here's a new photo. I'm liking this thing more and more.

That looks so good.

And, I'm probably gonna be in the minority here, but I think for this front look, an HD hood, or even a cowl, might take away from it.

I'll probably stick with the stock hood for a while. I have ideas though. Would love to find one without the crease down the center personally but haven't seen one.

I'm liking it more too. Love the idea. I've been looking at bumper covers but look at the prices and run away lol. Like the newer trucks all have one piece cover and looks so much cleaner and an updated look.
I've always liked a 1 piece bumper instead of ours which is 2, 3, or 4 depending on how you look at it.

This is the way it should've came from the factory.

Yeah, this build and a few others on the forum have me set on getting the larger grill from a silverado, and the bumper cap to match.

well I missed all the front bumper excitement but wow that looks great!
Thank you. Appreciate it.

Funny you mention the stance. I'm very happy with how this settled... and of course I have to lift it back up in order to install offset bushings (at some point) to correct the camber up front. Which means it has to settle again.

And yes, the bumper is holding up REALLY well, especially with the highway miles I have put on this thing since finishing it. That clear coat I used is damned good.

im really looking forward to see how the filler holds up on the bumper! you did a really nice job on getting it smooth. really makes me want to look into doing something to the front of my crew cab.

It's been a minute since an update and I'm brainstorming at the moment...

Ill get some photos but the bumper held up on the cross country drive, just some rock chips (no surprise)

Trying to find different flares though, larger flares actually, wider. My heads in the clouds lol...

If I remember correctly I believe street scene or maybe bushwhackers made wider flares that are oem style.
