Looking beautiful man. Since my trucks are froze to ground right now, cant do any detailing lol. But heres something my dad showed me, its made by Honda, we get it from the Honda dealership locally, but its something like that wax and dry you used.

Gets some stellar reviews on Amazon. And this might be the best one I read...

Is this safe to use on a vehicle with clearcoat paint?
Answer: Only if you want it to look like God breathed on it, buffed it with his robe, and then stood back, admired his reflection, and decreed it to be be good.

LOL. Thats how I feel about it, secret weapon type stuff, first time I used it, sprayed it on, didn't even wash the truck and it looked I had just buffed it.

Quick Google search shows the can itself is about $3-$5, but shipping makes it around $10-$12 cost per can.

Amazon is in that range, but not Prime. Might have to add it to the detailing products and give it a try.

Sure would make the door jams and other tight spots perhaps a bit easier to clean and shine.

You should really try a nano coating on your truck.

$6 at the dealership i get mine from, might be worth a shot to stop at a honda dealer, if you have one close to you, and show them a pic and ask if they have any.

If the ck bulb ha's a shorter base you might be able to shave the socket walls down a little. I've done a few sockets like that.
It's how I did my eagle eye reverse lights in the 3157 socket and also to fit 194 cob leds in my corner lights.

I had my new dual exhaust tip welded on today. A little change that I think really improved the profile look.

I ordered the Genssi dual tip on eBay for $50 shipped. An exact Corsa replica for way less. Thx @Countryboy07 for the info.

What a great experience from a local shop that has been there for 40 years. I got to the shop this morning at 0800 and was out by 0930. The owner did the entire job himself as he was short staffed today. We talked PTA, our kids in the same school even though we have never met and detailing. Back pat here....he was amazed at the shape that my Tahoe was in. That always feels good for all the hard work and time put in trying to make it run and look good. He let me drive it on the lift, snap photos and walk around under the lift while he started taking measurements.

He initially thought it would be a simple cut and weld, but the way the exhaust angled down as it came over the axle, caught the hanger and exited out the side, it made it sit funny on the rear quarter panel. In his words, "It would look like ass."

So he cut the hanger off and then a few more inches closer to the axle, took the piece he cut off, cut it a bit more, turned it a bit which raised that low hanging angle and made it sit at a better angle to line up with the quarter panel better. He got on the ladder a couple times to look down and measure it up so the angle, recess and perspective were perfect. It is set back further than the OEM tip was with a very small gap (finger width or so) from the quarter panel. Enough to get in there and polish the top of the pipe. Cost me $100 with the extra work instead of $50, but supporting a local business and good family business owner was worth it. And he did great work.

Very happy with the outcome and looks so much better IMHO. Here's a bunch of pics of the install and final product.

On the lift ready to cut. Note how low the OEM pipe hangs below the quarter panel.

A look at how it sits after it comes down over the axle and exits.

2nd cut. Note the OEM hanger in place, but cut off and a little bit of pipe behind.

Lift coming down. Pretty snug up against the quarter panel but not too much.

Gave her a bath this evening and then tried this product out that I just picked up.

Turtle Wax Wash & Dry Spray Wax. Mist it on after you rinse and then dry with the product on the wet paint, rather than drying and then using the spray wax afterwards. Has a great smell, wipes clean and leaves a good slick feel.

I followed up with another microfiber just to make sure of any smudges or streaks I might have missed.

Interested to see how long it lasts and how the water beads off. Figured it couldn't hurt in between those full details to keep the paint in as good of condition as possible and my tap water is hard as heck, so why not.

Took a few pics as the sun was setting a little later with the +1 hour ahead now.

I love using a good drying aid when I dry mine off ( I use lucas slick mist) while im not sure it does much for actual protection but I really like how it for lack of another word enhances the gloss of the paint.

also the new tip looks great!
